Jameel guided Jacob to a rather ordinary room and respectfully said, "You may rest here. If you need anything, don't hesitate to call me."
"Thank you, Mr. Patton!" Jacob responded gratefully, acknowledging the courteous treatment.
Just when Jameel was about to step out of the room, Jacob suddenly halted him.
"Mr. Patton, can I ask you something?"
"Feel free to ask me anything!" Jameel responded.
"Mr. Patton, are all the inhabitants here beast cultivators? Are there humans living in the city?" Jacob inquired with curiosity.
Jameel shook his head. "There are no humans here. We're all beast cultivators, and we're a part of the beast race. The humans have their own territories, so they won't live among us."
"You mean no humans have ever set foot here before?" Jacob could not help but express surprise. It's such a vast city, yet no humans have discovered it or come here before.
