Warrior School

Mark looked at the piece of paper on his hands. It was quite thin, about 2 centimeters thick. It was shining as if somekind of glass was printed on it.

"A... flyer? What the heck is a flyer?" Mark thought. Indeed, a paper called a flyer is something odd to him. The paper was quite heavy so he has a hard time imagining it flying across the skies.

Mark thought about what the guy said. Joining a warrior school to become strong is his best bet on figuring out the strange symbols on his head. Of course, part of it is fear of those thugs coming to mess with him again. "If no one is strong enough and brave enough to help me, then I will help myself." He said to himself.

A strange oath indeed. What happened to him that he easily came to this statement? He doesn't desire to save others, he desires to save himself.

The flyer mentions a school at the south of the city, it is very near to his apartment, too. Mark wondered whether the guy knew the school was only a couple of streets away or did that guy memorized his speech. But that doesn't bother him, what bothers him is the words stated on the "flyer".

BE A WARRIOR AND HELP KILL THE BEASTS!

A year of living in this city was enough for him to know that the richest people in the city are definitely those who were carrying weapons all the time. Mercenaries, fighters, and warriors are some of the names people called them.

"These people must have been the warriors this flyer is talking about." Mark thought to himself.

The registration fee is 10 silver, and one has to pay 5 silvers each month for everything inside the school. His savings of 15 silver is definitely going down the drain.

Does he need to join? Definitely, if he wants to know about the symbols on his forehead then he must attend the school. But one's wishes don't come answered perfectly, one must work hard for it. He can only attend the school for a month, and he must get the five silvers just to attend another month, and that is where the problem lays. Even with the 145 copper per day payment, it still won't be enough to get 5 silvers per month.

"I have to find another way of getting money!" Mark decided.

He still has another month of work, and although he isn't sure about how the boss would react as to why he is absent today, he will still go.

But first he had to hide these symbols on his forehead.

Mark put a blue bandana on his forehead, letting his thick red hair droop from his head. His emerald eyes are glistening with the light of the twilight. It is getting darker, and the light shines to his tall and lean body. His face is smooth with a mix of white and brown, it is definitely lighter than brown, like white jade but slightly browner.

He is wearing a black long-sleeved polo shirt, and he matched it with white pants.

I say he has some kind of taste despite his gone memories.

He looked at the setting sun as the wind blows against him as he stood on the balcony.

*ting*

A sound suddenly came from his arm. He is wearing a thick black bracelet, and something lit up from it, it seems that the sound came from it.

"Open" Mark casually said, and a bright transparent screen lit up in front of his eyes that only he could see.

Ey, bubbles here.

I know I had not updated for quite some time, but it is certainly not because I forgot, certainly.

*eherm*

But now I have a clear goal or a path, one can say, towards this book.

Now all I need is the powe-- comments that can help me improve.

But thanks for taking your time in reading this.
