CHAPTER 76

XAVIER'S POV

"Yes, mum. This is your day off. Ophelia and I are going to look after the twins. You can schedule that date of yours today."

My mum gasped as she pulled my cheeks.

"Really!? But don't you guys have school?"

I looked at Ophelia waiting for her to explain her decision.

"Uhh, yeah we do, Aurora, but we aren't going because Xavier's hurt from the fight and I don't want him to blackout."

I stared at her in disbelief. 

My mum nodded slowly and left for her room.

"Seriously, did you have to put it on me?"

She walked ahead of me with her hair moving side to side as she walked.

"Yeah, it wasn't me who got beaten up by a gang leader, was it?"

I chuckled as we entered the twins' room. She really was going to be the death of me. 

LUCO'S POV

What did I have to drink last night? Was it vodka?

Nah, maybe whiskey.
