OPHELIA'S POV

"I don't think I should be doing this. Xa-"

"Xavier can wait. Just because you started dating, you can't just forget your friends, Lia."

I had just gotten out of my last class when Michelle and Jake appeared out of nowhere. Girls in the hallway kept hushing amongst themselves. It was probably about Jake. 

To be honest, Jake had good looks. Hell, anyone would die to date him. I too had a crush on that idiot. But his personality was of a rock. Plus, he can be a real pervert some days.

Currently, these people were dragging me to a party that was taking place Downtown. I used to go to the parties in Downtown regularly. It was the place for all the rich families to rest. My parents too had a villa there. Downtown was also known for partying. Every summer, Michelle and I used to pack our bags and go to either of our villas in Downtown. Jake would join us a few days later. But I stopped going there after that night.
