Making Progress...?
Rizz darted behind the leatherworking hut only to grind to a halt the next second.
Tanning racks and other equipment lined the back of that hut. At least twenty meters further east, there was the small grove of bushes with long, orange peppers hanging from their branches.
"To the other side!" Rizz cackled with the daggers held against his chest.
While crossing the settlement under the noonday sun, Rizz glanced northward.
That's where the peach trees were planted and tended to, as well as the creek Rizz had found before. But under the darkness of night and with his tired body, Rizz hadn't noticed some of the damaged, broken trees.
Those were part of the damages from the ram's first rampage, before the tribesfolk blew their horns and lured the beast to the open area south of the settlement. They ended up saving their peach grove, at the cost of losing some huts instead.
