Punishment

I walked back to my room thinking about the punishment that would befall her and my smile grew and grew

"Why are you smiling?" Tony's voice made me jump

"Don't do that" I threw back, hand on heart Tony smiled crossing his arms across his chest he raised his eye brow

"We'll why are you smiling?"

"Why don't you tell me?"

"Hmm" he walked in a circle around me I watched him "you .... Have ... Come up with a great punishment for the maid?" I smiled whilst I clapped at his ability to read minds

"Bravo" I shouted then we walked the rest of the way to my room discussing the punishment.

The next day I sat in my horse drawn royal carriage with Valerie tied to the back we rode slowly to the town square a crowd gathered around us probably wondering why a woman was tied to the back and that's exactly what I wanted i got out of the carriage and I untied the ungrateful wrench and pulled her by her ropes towards the centre of the crowd, people were talking in hushed whispers trying to figure out what was going on

"MY PEOPLE" I started, silence fell as they waited for me to carry on "THIS IS VALERIE THE MAID THAT TRIED TO OVERTHROW ME AS QUEEN SHE HAS BEEN CAPTURED AND NOW WILL BE PUNISHED, BUT FIRST A TRIAL" I threw her down in front of me "VALERIE NIGHT YOU HAVE BEEN CHARGED WITH TRYING TO KILL THE QUEEN, HOW DO YOU PLEAD?"

"Guilty" she whispered but I think people heard

"THEN YOU SHALL BE PUNISHED" I walked around her in a circle the way a predator would circle it's prey "DOCTOR" I shouted and, no it wasn't doctor who, it was the doctor that had sold her the drug he came forward with a vile and handed me the black wooden bottle I took off the lid and held up towards the sky "THIS VILE CONTAINS THE DRUG SHE USED TO MAKE ME POWERLESS AND I SHALL NOW USE IT ON HER" I announced I walked towards her and she tried to move back but my guards stopped her they didnt have to do that as she couldnt go anywhere due to the ropes, she couldnt even blink as i was holding her ropes she would cause me to blink with her but the guards  held her down, and I stepped closer once again I got down on my knees and held her chin open with one hand and with the other I poured the contents of the vile down her throat I held her head up so that it would slide down her throat, a trick Luke used to use on me when I was young as I hated taking medicines "an eye for an eye" I whispered to her and smiled as I got up and announced it was done I left her there and walked back to the carriage, got in, and rode off towards the castle.

"So when do you plan on giving her, her powers back?" Tony asked me when I got back home, wow home this was my home now god if someone had told me a year ago I was going to be queen of another planet I would've carried them off to the k2 ward

"I don't know" I shrugged "maybe forever" Tony stopped walking towards the throne room where John Reed was waiting for us, John Reed was the headmaster of Enidan high and he had asked to see me.

I stopped too and turned "what" I questioned

"You can't do that Cat" I allowed him and Maya to keep calling me by my name as we were friends I raised an eyebrow as if to ask why "she will die" he finally said I scoffed, so not my problem, I turned and carried on walking "wait" he shouted after as he caught up "think about this Cat, even prisoners get their powers back"

"Well maybe I don't want to give them back because she doesn't deserve to keep them"

"She will die" he told me now I stopped I had to think about this I couldn't let her die yes I was angry and yes I have killed in the past and yes death would be great for her but I couldn't live with myself I mean she did what she did for love and love is blind I nodded and resumed walking

"I'll think about it, I won't let her die" I whispered Tony smiled and nodded we entered the throne room to be greeted by John Reed. I sat on the throne.

"How may I help you mr Reed?"

"Please your majesty call me John" I smiled

"I call you mr Reed out of respect and this will be how I address you until I see fit" John nodded

"Very well your majesty, I'm here because I have a problem" I nodded to him to show him he may go on "you see there are many planets in the universe" I nodded there are over a thousand "well we teach about them at the school and earth is one of the planets we teach about" I smiled at this "the problem is the teacher that teaches earth has gone on leave without warning" that wiped the smile off my face my eyebrows furrowed " and I was hoping if ..... Uh ... I mean the other teachers and I were wondering ... If you know you're not to busy.... If .... Well ... Youcouldteachearthattheschool" he spoke the last part really fast but I understood I smiled

"Yes"

"No" Tony and I both answered at the same time

"Excuse me?" I questioned

"I'm sorry your majesty but I can't allow you to do this"

"HOW DARE YOU TRY TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO" I shouted I was angry I was fuming I was queen shouldn't it be my decision? I turned to the headmaster and spoke calmly "I will be there tomorrow, 7:30 ok?" I asked

"Yes" John answered "thank you your majesty" he seemed unaffected by my shouting he left then with a big smile on his

"I'm sorry Caitlin but this is a bad idea" I turned to Tony

"Why" I asked

"Because people are trying to kill you all the time you'll be in constant danger" I narrowed my eyes what does he take me for I've killed two people

"This may be hard for you to grasp but I can take care of myself but thanks its nice to know that you believe in me" I went and sat down Tony wanted to say something but I stopped him "you may leave now" I told him and turned away completely ignoring him he left in silence and I sighed what just happened we never argued we weren't suppose to argue when did he become so controlling and why. These questions will haunt me forever.
