Broken Here And There

Today's a new day! As expected, students's spirits begins to fade in just one day. Sir Norman understands, yet he pulls a surprise for all of his students. He's so eager for his science lesson which is at the first period.

"Good morning, everyone! How are y'all feeling today?" he greets his students first and followed by them.

"Hmm? Your voices seems not energetic. What's wrong?" asks Sir Norman. A girl raises her hand and asks,

"Sir, right now is the science period. Are we just going to stay in class and not going anywhere?". The teacher smirks as he knows what she wants to say.

"That's right, sir. It's boring to stay in class all day. We wanted to go to the science lab. Last year we went there once and never again after that," continues another student.

Hearing those words coming from his own students mouth, a feeling of heavy-hearted struck into his heart. He feels so bad for them. Suddenly, he remembers about the surprise that he wants to give to them. Sir Norman asks his scholars to follow him. The whole class get curious.

While walking, the class rep, Aaron question his teacher.

"Sir, where are we going? Shouldn't we be learning science right now?" he asks.

"Exactly!" The teacher replies.

"I asks the principal to let me use one of the science lab. He says that all of it is in use except for the old one. But still, the apparatus there can still be used. You guys should be greatful," he resume. All the students behind them feels so happy that they can't express their feelings!

They stop in the front of a wooden door. The door seems that it can break anytime. Sir Norman unlocks the keylogger and open the door. They're screeching as they're so thrilled to enter the room. Once they see the inside. Their smiles break.

"Wha- What's with all this?!" shouts Sir Norman. We couldn't believe it. Neither his students. How can they not? After seeing the lab full of cracked tables and chairs, the broken apparatus and the other supplies. It seems more like a storage than a lab.

Sir Norman feels devastated. He thought he can trust the other teachers and the principal on giving the best for 'all' their scholars. But he guessed it wrong! Those supplies can't never be used anymore.. The other science teachers just leave it there in case 'worst class' want to use them.. So cruel..
