With that they started the battle, little did they know they were being watched from the shadows.
At the start of the battle the damage dealers focused on the goat of Miaorui killing it within 2 seconds leaving Miaorui slightly injured with a hit of 6.500 that was healed back up in 4 seconds. Hana now taking her second hit of 5.000 damage getting close to her halfway point of her health, Aron and Jack were having it way easier with only hits on them for 2.500 damage that would be healed by the healers a second later. Now that Hana noticed the difference in stance between her and Jack started to copy how he was standing making her more able to partially evade or to blok the incoming hits.
So that is their trick, fluently moving with predicting where the goat would hit and try to evade, block or even counter attack. It was like they were dancing on the battle field, Hana now trying to do the same had stiff and predictable movements herself. She would need to get used to the changing of directions and make it more fluidity so it would cost less energy, evading went well but blocking and countering the goat was to hard for now.
Just before Hana did get a good feel for it her goat was killed, she was happy she survived taking the goat on but saddened that she couldn't practice the new found fighting style. Jessica saw her conflicted expression and was thinking about asking after the battle what was wrong, now she had to focus on the fight. It was now time for Aron's goat, everyone asked why but as soon as they started hitting Aron's goat they noticed the spend to much mana on the first two goats making it harder to kill the other two.
The healers, Aron, Jack, Jessica and a few hunters like Chloe, Daisy and Sophie had enough mana left to kill Aron's goat within the minute of starting the fight. Aron now free without a goat charged towards Jack's goat and hitting it with an old fashion [shield smash] followed with an [slash and bash] this stunned the goat and gave it a wound that would lead to the goat bleeding to dead within a minute. Sadly for the goat Aron wasn't done, now getting his bow and an arrow shooting a few while creating more distances between him and the goat.
With the distance increased he started shooting with [6 arrows] and [bullseye] killing the goat. The rest was looking at how Aron just killed another goat without any help damage wise. Aron on the other hand was not surprised with his damage, his skills did do more damage than most because of his stats and his skill levels. He was sure only a few had the same skill level as he had but no one had the same strength, agility or stamina.
With that show of power Jessica's team members became aware how big of a gap there was between the top and them. The would need to start training on all fronts. Knowing that you could improve stamina by running and strength by push-ups and other exercises was one thing it exactly doing was another. Most of them just did half a day's work in a dungeon and never went to the dummies for extra training. Now they thought differently, when they returned they would start training for sure they thought.
They would also ask Aron about his ballista skill if he could teach it to them. The sentrys on the other hand saw the smoothness of Aron's movements like Hana did and would ask him how he was able to do that. Aron himself did want to improve even more, he was fast and agile but he found his strength and stamina lacking including his skill set. He didn't have so called finisher skills or life saving skills.
With 33 bosses to go they decided to rest for the rest of the day. Everyone knew the next day would probably be even harder. If they didn't have Aron or Jack they would have it even harder, little did they know that the eyes in the shadows was following every move they made.
This mysterious figure was amused by the performance of Aron and a few others, sadly not so fond of the rest so it would do something it would normally not do. This figure went to the core of the dungeon and poured some of it mana in the dungeon crystals and started changing the layout and the intelligence of the goats. After that it went back to the camp of the humans and saw the sleeping Aron and pulled him in the shadows waking aron up in the process.
Aron felt he couldn't use his mana, without mana he couldn't do much. This was an eye opening moment for Aron for how much he and the others relied on mana for everything.
Mysterious figure: Hello youngsters, I see I woke you up in the process.
Aron now confused that this figure could talk and the way it talked was not with a male or female voice it was if nothing was talking. Now looking at the figure he tried to describe it but he couldn't even do that. The only thing he saw was movements of shadows all around him, the aura the figure was emitting did give Aron goosebumps. It was soul suppressing and heavy on the body that Aron felt 500 kg heavier. What to do next was the one of the things that came into Aron's mind, he couldn't run he couldn't fight and he couldn't warn the others. The only thing he could was talk.
Aron: Please let me go.
Mysterious figure: I will soon, just watch the show.
Aron: Who are you and what are you planning to do?
Mysterious figure: Who or what i am is not important, nor what I'm planning to do. Just watch and learn, not everything can be solved by you and your sister.
Aron: I know I have my friends and parents for that.
Mysterious figure: ohw, did you see your parents before you left for the dungeon?
Aron now thinking back that he didn't see them for some time. Now Aron wanted to know who he was speaking with,how did this being know so much and how comes he never seen it. Or was it something you could actually see, how more Aron started to think about it he was almost sure he was in a domain of one of the strongest beings alive perhaps.
Mysterious figure: Your right about the domain I will give you that but powerful I'm not compared to other monsters in this universe.
Aron: So you can read my mind as well, what can't you do?
Mysterious figure: Die of naturally courses.
With that Aron was stunned. At the same time in the camp Aron was pulled from almost everyone was sleeping, only two girls did talk with each other. Jessica and Hana did talk about the fights they had or the lacking of long fights, goats did to much damage and the as a group did the same. They couldn't improve this way and Jessica and Hana did talk about ways they perhaps could improve. They came to the conclusion that they would need to start working on offence and defence instead of making their town grow. Jessica wanted to have more people questing because the quest boards and the quests she made herself did increase her level, this would strengthening her level wise but not her attributes. Hana had a different issue she loved watching others do exercises specifically a certain boy. After two hours of talking both girls did fall asleep.
The next morning with Aron still watching from the shadows. Everyone woke up and started making breakfast the tent of Aron kept quiet and Jack started worrying because Aron was always am early bird, waking up before anyone else. Just before Jack reached the tent Hana came to Jack asking if he had seen Aron.
Jack: Haven't seen him that is why I'm heading towards his tent.
Hana: He is not in his tent I already checked.
Jack: Let's inform everyone about this.
After informing everyone about Aron not being in the camp Jessica checked one of the quests she did make by accident.
[Quest, complete the dungeon with managing less than 20 deads, progress 0/20 deads, reward??]
Jessica: Aron is not dead, if you look at the quest you still see 0 out of 20 deads so he should be somewhere in the dungeon.
Everyone was now more at ease, still missing Aron would slow down the pace of killing goats but it would have to do. In the shadows Aron and the mysterious figure did watch their every move and couldn't help but be impressed by Jessica calmness. It was her brother missing and she was the one that looked for the most obvious clues from the system.
Mysterious figure: Guess my friend was right, you two are young but learn fast to adapt. Let's see if they can adapt to the dungeon changes.
Aron: Dungeon changes? What did you do.
Aron immediately suspected the mysterious figure who now was chuckling, of course it wouldn't answer Aron the normal way but took Aron to an adjusted part of the dungeon.
Mysterious figure: See for yourself boy, I'm sure you can defeat those 5 goats alone now.
Aron who did check the stats of the 5 goats was surprised. He remembered the goat Alexander but the stats of the 5 goats were lower than him alone.

Aron now looking happy he was sure he could handle the goats now. At that moment the mysterious figure closed his domain for Aron who now had to face 5 goats by himself. Aron grabbed his sword and shield and started fighting them, the moment he caused a wound on one goat he went to the next. It took him a minute to get all goats mortally wounded, in that minute he only got hit 12 times for a 100 damage each.
In the camp Jessica was still looking at her quests system and looked now at the bosses quest.
[Quest, kill the all the 42 dungeon bosses, progress 32 / 42 bosses, reward +3 levels, no time limit]
Jessica: look at the boss quest we ended on 33 last night didn't we? Now it's on 32.
Jack now looking and answering yes.
[Quest, kill the all the 42 dungeon bosses, progress 30 / 42 bosses, reward +3 levels, no time limit]
Jack and Hana: Only 30 left now.
Kim: It's now on 28 bosses left. Is Aron killing them alone?
Jessica: Ot could also be an internal fight between the goats, let's move out and kill as many goats as we can.
