Tadiwa Michael (POV)
I watched as Douglas drizzled with the ball for a while and went for a shoot. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a goal, but he didn’t stop playing.
“So, you are telling me that your crush is a man on top of him being married too?” Douglas asked, without stopping playing with his ball.
After summarizing the whole issue to Douglas, it was the first time that he was responding. And since I had come clean to him, there was no need for me to ignore his question but be truthful, as he could give me a solution to my problem.
“Umm, apparently I am gay. Is it surprising?” I asked curiously as I tilted my head to the other side.
Douglas stopped playing and started walking towards me with a smile. Seeing that smile on his face, I couldn’t help but wonder what he was up to again.
However, he passed by me without saying a word and I followed behind again.
The two of us ended up sitting on the bench as Douglas wiped the sweat off his face and neck.
