Your Real Feelings

I lay down and started reading the novel I had bought with Jefri. No, I'm not focused on reading. Suddenly crossed my mind with so many questions about gang, boss, Jefri's feelings for me so I don't know how to find the answer and what the real answer is.

As usual the next day I met Jefri on the roof of the old, unused school. He enjoys feeding the cats in our school. Seeing him happy made me smile and suddenly flashed all my memories of terrible events in the future that he would be gone forever news of his death that spread through the mass media saw him lying on the street with a lot of blood spilled out and it was not known who was the mastermind behind the figure of Jefri's death.

"No, the story has changed, some events don't appear and other unexpected events appear means the ending is not the same right." I thought.

" What's wrong with you?" suddenly Jefri was very close to my face and made me nervous.

"No." I turned my body to see the wide view of the city from the roof of the old school.

"I thought something happened, you closed your eyes too long." Said Jeffrey.

"I…that…just…because of the light…yes the sun." My basics to him.

"Then let's go to class." Jefri reached out his hand to me and I held his hand towards the class.

On the way to class "Today there is a festival, do you want to see it tonight?" Jeffrey said slowly.

" Yes, of course." I said and I saw Jefri's face beaming happily.

"Is this a date, why haven't you revealed your feelings to me until now. What's wrong with you?" My mind speaks.

Evening had arrived, Jefri picked me up at home and he was stunned by my different appearance from before.

"Look different huh." He said with a small laugh.

"You don't like it, then I'll go first." I said.

"You don't have to fit in like this." He smiled crookedly.

"EH, yes this is your jacket that I borrowed yesterday." I said.

"Have you washed it yet?" Said Jeffrey.

"Come on, it's you." I answered his words fiercely and Jefri then put his jacket in his bag and laughed out loud.

He piggybacked me on his motorbike and arrived at the festival venue. We walked around, bought snacks, played together, until we arrived at the game of picking up dolls with tongs.

"Which one do you want?" Jeffrey asked.

"The white bear with the tie." I pointed while looking at him. Jefri smiled and started playing until he got it and gave it to me.

"EH,, there is a photo studio, let's take a group photo there." Suddenly Jefri pointed at the photo studio and grabbed my hand. We took a close up of him winking one of his eyes smiling and I was posing with two fingers in the photo with a smile.

"Sorry, we only printed one photo." The cameraman said.

" It does not matter." Jefri took the photo and looked at it.

"Give it to me." I said.

"No, let me just keep it." Jeffrey said.

We scrambled for the photo but Jefri held it up high, and whatever my short power was, I finally gave up.

"Yeah, it's up to you." I pouted.

Jefri laughed and then kept the photo in his wallet after which he took me in a quiet place to see the fireworks scattered in the sky.

"Beautiful." Said Jeffrey.

I looked at Jefri and hoped that this time he would express his feelings to me. Jefri then turned to me and said "To replace the photo so you don't frown, I give you this bracelet. When I'm not with you anymore, this bracelet will be a reminder that I'm always there for you." He gave her a black bracelet with twinkling stars.

"What do you mean there is no, this bracelet is exactly the same as the one Jefri's mother gave at Jefri's funeral, No....the story will not be the same." I thought.

"Why are you saying this, tell me how you feel Jef, I want to hear it in person." My mind said back.

Jefri didn't say another word and then we heard the sound of a motorbike coming towards us.
