Meet Again

My eyes suddenly lit up with the gleam of the sun and the screams of someone in front of me. I don't think now that I see someone I know and I want to meet him is Jefri. He shouted at me "Throw the ball in the hoop" I didn't realize that there was an inter-class match right now and I spontaneously threw the basketball in my hand. Priiiit,,, the sound of the whistle sounded and was heard by me, Jefri approached me suddenly without realizing my eyes filled with tears and I cried in front of him.

" What's wrong with you?" Jefri asked me.

"Come on, drink first so you don't get dehydrated and get thinner." He handed me a bottle of water which I took a sip. I don't know when I used to always get annoyed when he called me but today I realized that what he did was something I longed for in the future.

Suddenly someone I know came over to me, the former Michael who betrayed me and broke me and made Jefri suddenly stay away from me because I kept my distance from him.

"Good game, you put in the last ball that made our class win." He smiled while stroking the top of my head but somehow I wasn't as happy as in the past and then I pushed his hand away and saw Jefri who started to look away looking annoyed.

"What are you doing?" I turned and asked Jefri and ignored Michael.

"No, I want to get out first." he stepped his foot and left me without paying attention to Michael. I went to follow Jefri. My brain suddenly thought whether I should ask her how she feels about me. So remember the incident when he was gone forever and his mother came to me when I came to his funeral and said that Jefri always told me about me and wanted his mother to give me the bracelet that Jefri had kept for me.

"Go to class" I said

"I want to skip the next class ." Jefri said.

"Where are you going?" I ask.

Jefri did not answer and walked away towards the back of the building that led to the outer wall of the school.
