Since that incident, I can see Michael's hateful gaze towards Jefri but Jefri who looks apathetic and indifferent doesn't pay much attention to people's views of him and what people see in him.

On Sunday Jefri took me to play basketball on the school field. We played happily grabbing the ball, taking turns putting the ball into the ring. But when I was dribbling someone took the ball from behind and put it in the ring and scored. I then turned and saw Michael standing behind me suddenly I asked "What are you doing?, what are you doing here?"

Suddenly Jefri came in front of me and then glared at Michael. Michael who had been silent for a while then started to say "How about we both play basketball?"

Jefri was silent and started to speak loudly "Okay but if I win stay away from Fania don't bother her anymore."

Michael laughed and smiled disdainfully "Don't underestimate me. Okay, if you lose, don't be with Fania again at any time and get out of the gang."

"Gang…what does that gang mean." My mind speaks.

"Okay I accept." Jefri said while pulling my hand leaving Michael alone on the school basketball court. Jefri continued to hold my hand while walking in front of me and then I brushed it off until Jefri turned to me.

"Why did you bet with him? You don't know who Michael is?, I don't want to be your bet." I shouted at him.

Jefri then said in a loud tone "You want to be bothered by him all the time. If I win he won't bother you because now I'm always with you and I promise I will win." Jefri's sharp gaze implied a strong desire to protect me. I just kept quiet and followed him to take me home.

The next day was basketball class, Michael suddenly announced that there would be a match between himself and Jefri, suddenly the cheers of his friends echoed in the field. Many of them support Michael because he is the leader of the school's basketball team who has no doubts about his game

The match starts within 30 minutes. Scramble for the ball, put the ball into the ring one after another until the time remaining one minute.

A friend said to his friend "I thought the sleepy boy wasn't good at sports, but he can keep up with the school basketball team leader."

Suddenly I heard the words of the two girls immediately replied "That is another side of Jefri that you didn't know before, it's better to be quiet and watch the game." I replied curtly. The two girls turned to me and then looked back at the match.

Time is running out "Ah, it's impossible for Jefri to win, the result must be a draw." My mind speaks.

Unexpectedly Jefri took the ball from Michael and shot from the middle of the field and entered at the same time as the whistle sounded from a friend who was appointed to be the referee in the match. Suddenly the other classmates and classmates who were watching the match were shocked and applauded what Jefri had just done.

I then ran to meet Jefri with a drink and a towel. Jefri accepted it with a happy smile and said "Finally I kept my promise to you." A glimpse of Michael's face was visible across the face that was angry and left the basketball court.
