Origin of Chaos: Legend of The Red Tiger

In the world of Zenon, where Psychic and esper powers reigned supreme, Alexander, the prince of Norath, was born without the ability to harness “Zet”, the respected psychic energy. Branded a “dud” by the society, Alexander faced discrimination and hate, even within his own kingdom. However, tragedy struck when a brutal coup claimed the lives of his parents, stripping him of his royal status. He was thrown into slavery along with the other duds at the age of ten, where he was severly maltreated for many years. During his time suffering as a slave, Alex’s rage grew, and he swore to get revenge on the world that had rejected him. His chance for vengeance came after fifteen years, when he and a large number of slaves were forced to go through an inhumane ‘gene-altering experiment’. A huge majority of the slaves lost their lives, their bodies unable to endure the excruciating pain from the experiment. Only five people managed to survive, among which included Alexander, emerging as new beings with supernatural abilities. With their newfound powers, Alexander and the other four unleashed chaos and destruction upon Zenon, wreaking havoc upon those who once oppressed them. However, their rash actions drew grave consequences, ones that were far greater than them. Will they be able to overcome the powerful enemies rising against them… or will they eventually succumb to the cruel fate the universe has laid down for them? **** This novel contains serious bloodshed and gore, please don’t read if you can’t stomach any of this. Nuked

"Ugh!" Lee'on let out a low grunt, as his body flew through the air at tremendous speed.

Bam!!

His back crashed into the wall at the far end of the laboratory, smashing through it with a loud bang.

The thick metal wall instantly crumbled into pieces, unable to contain the force behind the collision.

"Damn it." Lee'on mumbled, swiftly jumping back up on his feet.

'He's too strong! Even after transforming… I can barely keep up.' He thought, his brows furrowing into a deep frown.

The laboratory they fell down in was completely dark, with the only source of light being the hole in the ceiling, which reflected the light from the upper floor.

But despite how dark the laboratory was, both he and Alex could still see very clearly, even clearer than they could in the light.

Lee'on guessed it was another ability they gained from the experiment, so he didn't ponder too much on it.

"I wonder…" Alex voice suddenly reverberated through the laboratory, jolting him out of his thoughts.

"Why would you of all people defend this kingdom, even after all they've done?" He continued, his eyes glowing bright red in the dark.

Lee'on's eyes narrowed slightly at Alex's words. He went silent for a few second, before finally speaking up.

"I'm not defending them dumbass." He said, barely holding back the urge to roll his eyes.

"I only said we need to find the truth behind this experiment." Leon's eyes narrowed at Alex,

"Shouldn't that be the first thing on your mind?" He said, pointing at Alex. "Why can't you understand that?"

"The truth…" Alex mumbled, musing over Lee'on said for a few seconds.

However, no matter how reasonable that argument might be, he just couldn't bring himself to agree with it.

Swoosh!

"Bullshit." He said, suddenly dashing towards Lee'on once more.

In an instant, he closed in on him, sending another punch flying towards his face.

'Fuck.' Lee'on's eyes widening slightly in shock, as Alex's fist abruptly filled his vision.

He stretched his hand forward, deflecting the punch by pushing Alex's fist down.

Utilising his momentum, he swiftly leapt upwards, twisting his body in the air before gracefully landing behind Alex.

'Now he's open!' He thought, swiping his claws towards Alex's back.

Crack!

However, Alex suddenly turned at that moment, gripping his wrist tightly with his hand, their eyes briefly locking with each other.

Lee'on's eyes immediately widened in shock, realising he was now wide open to whatever Alex threw at him.

"I thought we were similar, but…" Alex muttered, clenching his other hand into a tight fist.

"You're weak!" He said, immediately sending out a powerful punch towards Lee'on's abdomen.

Thwamm!!!

With nothing left to shield him, Alex's fist slammed into Lee'on's stomach with immense force.

Boom!!

As his fist connected, a powerful shockwave bursted out of the other end, sending a sharp jolt of pain across Lee'on's torso.

Swoosh!

His eyes widened in pain, as his body was immediately sent flying backwards.

BAM!!

BAM!!

BAM!!

His body continuously crashed through the walls, showing no sign of stopping, despite him trying to balance back on his feet.

Bang!!

"Argh…" He grunted in annoyance as his back slammed into another wall, bursting into another section of the underground laboratory.

However, his eyes widened in shock as he realised something… there was no ground for him to land on!

"W-wait… what?!!!" He shouted, as his body suddenly started falling at terrifying speed.

THUD!!

After a few seconds of falling through the air, his body finally crashed face flat into the ground with a loud bang, leaving a massive crater on the surface.

"Ugh… damn you Alex." He muttered, his head lodged deeply into the ground.

"How annoying…" He mumbled, slowly standing up on his feet, while gently rubbing his abdomen where Alex hit him.

'That hurts… a lot.' He thought, letting out a low hiss of pain.

To his surprise, he was still alive, thanks to the insane strength and durability he got after the experiment.

Even after crashing through all those thick metal walls, and falling head-first into the ground from such a high height, he barely felt any pain.

The only pain he still felt was the one from his stomach, where Alex mercilessly punched him.

Even though he had gotten countless times stronger than before, Alexander was just on a whole nother level.

'I'm weak? What bullshit! You're the one who freakishly strong!!' He thought, gently rubbing his forehead.

'But ignoring that… where the hell am I?' Lee'on wondered, staring at his surroundings in surprise.

Just like the room they were in before, this one was also completely dark, but that posed no problem for him, as he could still see very clearly.

The room was very large, with numerous giant green cylinders lodged tightly in the ground.

There were strange giant pipes connecting all around the place; some were connected to the giant cylinders, pumping a strange green fluid into them, while the rest ran into the ground.

"Another one of these things…" Lee'on muttered, taking a step towards one of the giant cylinders in front of him.

Meanwhile, Alex's brows furrowed into a slight frown as he stared at the large hole left on the wall.

Bam!

He suddenly punched the wall again, blasting it into rubbles with his sheer strength.

The hole widened even further, more than enough for him to pass through.

Thud!

He suddenly jumped into it, falling through the air before landing on the ground with a loud thud.

Another crater appeared on the ground upon impact, with thick cracks spiderwebbing from his feet outwards.

"You didn't have to come…" Lee'on said, hissing under his breath.

However, Alex simply ignored him, staring at the set of large cylinders planted firmly into the ground.

"They're still alive… all of them." He muttered, his eyes flickering with a cold glint.

"Yeah, this another experiment of Port'hov. Although it failed, he still preserves their lives…"

Twishh!!!

Suddenly, a loud sound pierced through their ears, causing their eyes to widen in shock.

Leon's face paled, and gasped, tightly gripping his chest in surprise.

   "T-this… don't tell—"

   BOOOMM!!

Before Lee'on could even complete his words, a large nuke abruptly descended on the laboratory, and the whole structure went off in a giant mushroom of flames.
