???: Lumine!!!!

A light shot out of blonde and a small body tackled Lumine back to the bed.

BAM!!

Lumine: Ouch!

???: *Sniff* *Sniff* You are finally awake. *Sniff* Paimon was so worried. *Sniff*

Looking at the small fairy which was crying while hugging her, a slight anger that appeared in Lumine's heart vanished.

She then gently hugged Paimon back and started rubbing her back.

Lumine: I am sorry for making you worry, Paimon. It won't happen again.

Paimon: Really?

Lumine: Of Cour....

Though her words trailed off as she remembered Primis hellish training.

After every session, she fell unconscious for a day or two. Hence, she knew it's impossible to promise such thing.

Paimon: Lumine?

Lumine: Ahem. I mean, I will try my best so that it won't occur again.

Paimon: Um.

Seeing that Paimon had calmed down now, she asked.

Lumine: By the way, where is Mr. Erste?

Paimon: Paimon don't know.

Shaking her head in denial, the little fairy continued.

Paimon: Once we succeeded in taking care of the blood clot on Dvalin, we all fell into the abyss. However, Dvalin saved us in the next second and took us away from its realm. That's when Paimon saw Mr. Erste again.

Hearing this, Lumine was surprised. She knew that she had fallen unconscious after her last attack but never expected for Primis to come.

Paimon: He then healed all of you and told Paimon to back into Lumine and rest.

A warmth appeared in the Traveler's as she smiled.

'Lumine: So, you really were looking at us from the distance...... Mr. Erste, you are such a tsundere.'

Chuckling at her thoughts, she thought about something.

'Lumine: But why am I having a feeling that you are all four of them. Tsundere, Yandere, Kuudere, and Dandere......Hmmm…I wonder why.'

As she was thinking about it, Paimon next words snapped the girl out of her thoughts.

Paimon: By the way, Paimon don't know why but Mr. Erste told Paimon something weird.

Lumine: How weird.

Paimon: He told Paimon not to come out until Lumine is back. No matter who came. Even if they are our friends, Paimon must not come out.

Sensing that it was not as simple as it appeared, she inquired.

Lumine: Don't you ask why?

Paimon: Paimon did. But he said it was for both Paimon's and Lumine's safety. So, as a good girl, Paimon was obedient and didn't come out even when Amber, Kaeya, Lisa, Eula and Yuuya came to visit.

Lumine: Is that so......Did they give you a call?

Paimon: They did many times. But Paimon still obeyed Mr. Erste words and didn't come even when Paimon feel sad about it

Lumine: It's okay, Paimon. Don't worry, I will go together with you to apologize. I am sure they will forgive us.

Paimon: They will?

Lumine: Um. I am sure they will.

But then she realized something as she remembered Paimon's few words back.

Lumine: Paimon, can you tell me who came to visit the most?

Paimon: Huh? Well, it was Yuuya.

Becoming silent for a moment, she asked.

Lumine: How many times did he come?

Paimon: Well, he come 5-6 times every day.

Lumine: Everyday, huh. And how many times Mr. Erste came.

Paimon: Well......…

Lumine: Paimon.

Seeing the girl's gaze, the fairy lowered her head.

Paimon: Not even once. Ever since the day we were rescued Dvalin...Mr. Erste never came visit us.

Thinking that Lumine will be sad, Paimon raised her head to comfort her but she noticed something else.

Instead of feeling sad, Lumine's eyes dangerous narrowed as her demeaner had changed to that of cold one.

Compared to Paimon, Lumine had spent much more time with Primis. Hence, she knew Primis won't do something like not visiting her even once.

In their years of traveling together, she got injured many times. But Primis remained by her side all the time. So, it was very unusual for him not to come.

'Lumine: Does something happened to Mr. Erste while I was unconscious?'

Panic and anxiety gripped her heart but Lumine tried her best not to show it on her face.

Getting off from the bed, she decided to go to Knights of Favonius headquarters as soon as possible.

'Lumine: I hope you know something, Lisa.'

Paimon: Lumine, what about them?

Asked the fairy while pointing at the sleeping Jean and Diluc.

Lumine: Are they also the same like me since that day?

Paimon: Um.

'Lumine: if their condition is just like me...…could it be that they are also recovering their future memories and experience...…. In that case, it would be good for all of us.'

Lumine: I think they will be waking up soon too. So, let's not disturb them for now.

Paimon: Oh, that's good.

Lumine: Yeah. Let's go.

Then she opened the door of the room and hurriedly left.

'Lumine: Mr. Erste, please be safe.'

There was a saying that once a woman fell in love, her IQ fell to 0 or in minus. That's the same case here.

Because of her love for Primis, Lumine completely forget Primis really identity. If she didn't, she knew that there was no one in this world who can harm him.

Neither humans nor vision holders nor Adepti nor Gods nor The Seven and nor even the Celestia.

Mondstadt. The City of Freedom. A place where all the people lived happily without the intervention of their God. On the contrary, their god also want their people to live however they wanted.

Yet, now the same city was now engulfed in a gloomy aura. Despair, Pain, Sorrow, Helplessness, Despondency, and many more emotions could be seen on the face of the people.

Lumine and Paimon who had came out of the Favonius Cathedral, witnessed all of this and covered their mouth in shock. They were having hard time believing that it was the same Mondstadt whose people had smile on their face almost all the time.

Lumine: Just what happened to Mondstadt while we were away.

Paimon: Paimon doesn't like it. Paimon feel afraid just by looking at all of this.

In fear, Paimon floated more closer to Lumine.

Turning her head, the Traveler saw some guards who instead of showing brave front, were now crouching down at the side and were looking down with a desolated expression on their faces.

It was as if they no longer had any desire or ambition and just wanted to return home and do nothing.

Lumine approached them and tried to talk to them. But let alone opening their mouths, they didn't even raise their head to see who it was.

Frowning, Lumine left them be and decided to talk with some others but with no results.

What Lumine didn't know was that, the same thing happened in the future. Though when the casualties were still minor, Lisa found about it and notify it to Jean. And after some investigation, they found a clue that the source the thing was Dragonspine. The place where they asked Lumine to investigate. And that's where Lumine died and causalities kept on increasing until it covered the entire Mondstadt.

Descending down from the the staircase, Lumine and Paimon reached the plaza where the statue of Anemo God was. But the next thing made her opened her eyes wide.

There were hundreds or thousands of people kneeling around the statue of Anemo Archon with their head lowered and hands joined. Clearly indicating that they were praying their God. And for the population, it was not hard to guess that almost all of the people of Mondstadt were gathered here.

She looked around to found any familiar face but saw no one.

'Lumine: They must still be in Knights of Favonius Headquarters.'

Thinking she moved her head around to find any way out of the plaza.

Finally, she found one and made her way towards it while making sure not to hit or disturb the people.

By the time, she reached the stairs leading downwards, her ears perked up and she halted.

Before she was completely focused on finding the way out that she didn't give much attention to these people words. But now that she did, she was shocked to the core.

These people were not praying their God to protect them. They were instead pleading their God to kill someone. And that was none other than....

'Lumine: Mr. Erste...…...How could this be?'

These words struck Lumine like a lightning. All of her movements stopped as she was hard time believing what she just heard.

Paimon: *hic* *sniff* Lumine. Lumine. Look. *hic* *sniff*

Hearing Paimon's cry, she turned her head towards where she was pointing and her heart almost beating for a second.

At the wall on the side, she saw a wanted poster. Even though the drawing was not much well-made, Lumine knew it was Primis face.

Down it was even specifically mentioned, the most wanted criminal. Notify, Capture, or Kill on sight. The reward was Hundred Billon Moras and some rare materials.

With her trembling hand, she tore the poster off the wall and looked at it.

After checking it some more, she moved her head and saw even more of such posters. Most of the wall was filled with them.

Destroying the one in her hand, she continued walking down. But she would have never expected things were even worst down.

This time many red crosses were made on Primis wanted poster. There were even abusive words written on it. Though the most common ones were.

WHY DON'T YOU JUST DIE!!!!!

YOU ARE THE REASON FOR OUR SUFFERING!!!!

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND KILL YOURSELF!!!!

With one every word, a knife stabbed into Lumine's heart.

She even saw some children who were holding some kind of voodoo doll in their hands and hammering nails into it as if transferring all their suffering, hatred, pain to Primis.

There were even many burning puppets on the ground which had a face of Primis on it.

By now even Lumine can tell that Primis had become the most hated person in the entire Mondstadt.

Paimon had already retreated back into Lumine as she could no longer see how these people were treating Primis.

???: Lumine...…

Hearing her name called out, she turned to look at the person.

A light fair skin, long hair, golden eyes, red bow that was shaped like a bunny ears, brown pilot goggles, two small bags with leather belts, a red and brown glove, a Pyro sigil emblazoned on the red and orange ribbon, red jacket with long sleeves, a dark brown jumper outfit, and red stock on the white boots had symbols on it.

Lumine recognized the person right away since she was one who Lumine met after seeing Dvalin in the forest talking with Venti.

Lumine: Amber...

SWOOSH!!

THUD!!

The Outrider hurriedly moved and hugged Lumine.

Amber: I am so happy that you are finally awake!

Sensing her worry, Lumine also hugged her back.

Lumine: I am back, Amber.

Amber: Um. Welcome Back.

Separating from her, Amber looked at Lumine who seemed somewhat different than before. Though she can't point out how.

'Amber: Does this have something to do with her recovering her future memories?'

Lumine: Amber, what happened to Mondstadt? And...where is Mr. Erste?

Amber: That's...…

The girl become silent as she didn't know how to answer.

Seeing this Lumine started getting more anxious.

Lumine: Does Mr. Erste did something that make everyone hate him?

Amber: ...…

Lumine: Please tell me, Amber. I am sure there must be some way we can resolve it. So, please tell me what Mr. Erste did?

Seeing how Lumine was panicking with worry, Amber let out a sigh and spoke.

Amber: Nothing. Mr. Erste do nothing.

Lumine: Nothing? Then why are people....

Biting her lips, Amber looked around before dragging the Blonde to a secluded area and slowly explained what happened at her absence.

Lumine listened everything without uttering a single word but with each second, her heart broke even more.

By the time, Amber was done, Lumine eyes were already covered by her hair making it difficult for others to see her expression.

Though the tears that were streaming down her cheeks were visible.

Those tears that contained her agony and sorrow slowly dripped down on the ground.

Seeing this Amber can tell Lumine was currently in too much pain. So, she tried to comfort her.

Amber: Lumine, actually we can----

BURST!!!

Amber: Argh!!

Suddenly a burst of anemo was released from Lumine and it even threw Amber away.

As the Outrider stabilize herself and raised her head, she noticed something different.

Along with anemo, a dark blue power was also surrounding Lumine.

Seeing that Amber pupils contrasted as her skin crawled.

'Amber: Impossible! That's Abyssal Power! How can Lumine use the power of Abyss!?'

Lumine: How dare you?

Hearing such icy tone, Amber met with Lumine's cold eyes and a chill went down her spine.

Lumine: Not only did Mr. Erste not do any harm to Mondstadt but he even helped Mondstadt to return back their Four Winds. Yet, instead of showing their gratitude, the people putting all the blame on him for their predicament. If this is what the City of Freedom is then after getting rid of Yuuya......

She paused as dark blue flames appeared in one of her golden eyes.

Lumine: I will destroy Mondstadt.
