Beautiful Plan

"You should be in the headquarters again. I have more important things to do today." She greeted him as the young man who was reading a book inside his room. Lian Qiang went to his room but she remained outside the door trying to tell him that he will be staying to the headquarters today.

"But how about my class?"

"You are not going today." Her eyes remained to him intently warning him not to complain.

"But--" He couldn't finish his word.

"No buts. Get ready now." She commanded leaving him as he was staring at the woman as she walked away.

He sighed and thought as if he could still do something about it. He immediately put the book on the shelves and went to the bathroom to take a bath.

Lian Qiang was on her room also fixing herself trying all her equipment ready as possible. The two pistol that she was hiding will be given an exposure after how many days.

She put it on her holster. She went straight outside the mansion and as always, she was waiting again in the car.

As the young man exited the mansion, he quietly got into the car beside her. They were already accustomed to this kind of scenario, which is why it seemed as if it meant nothing to them. Both understood already why they always did this even Zhang Jin himself already accepted that she will be now his full time bodyguard.

As they got inside the headquarters, the loud voice was intensifying towards their directions.

Ling Xue was on her way greeting Zhang Jin when she saw him from a far.

"Hello Zhang Jin!" She immediately exclaimed with a happy voice because she could finally bond with Zhang Jin together. Without even greeting the woman beside him.

"Stay here for one day." Lian Qiang stated.

"For one day?" Zhang Jin asked in confusion.

"Yes."

"But why? Where are you going?" He asked as if she would tell him.

She hesitated for a brief moment, her gaze unwavering. "There's an urgent matter I need to attend to, something you wouldn't understand. I couldn't tell it to you, since, this is confidential. " Lian Qiang replied tersely.

Ling Xue sensed the tension in the air and tried to change the subject. "We have some new activities planned today, Zhang Jin! It's going to be fun." Ling Xue quickly hugged his left arm, an action that infuriated him. He promptly pulled her hand away.

Ling Xue knew what Lian Qiang was up to. As a member of the Orphan Mission, she understood when and how to keep their distance.

Zhang Jin nodded, trying to hide his concern for Lian Qiang. "Alright, but promise me you'll be careful out there," he whispered so that only she could hear it.

Lian Qiang smirked, "I always am." She then took one last look at him before striding confidently toward her assignment.

But she couldn't understand that the young man, Zhang Jin was concerned about her or she was just having a dream for a moment. She just shook her head, "Maybe he was just like that." She continued walking inside the meeting room.

Behind her, Zhang Jin's gaze followed her, filled with a mix of admiration and worry. He had grown accustomed to their connection, but he still couldn't help but feel anxious whenever she went on one of her dangerous missions.

Ling Xue, ever the bubbly spirit, tried to distract him. "Come on, let's get you settled in for the day," she urged, looping her arm through his.

But as Zhang Jin allowed himself to be led away, his thoughts remained firmly on Lian Qiang, hoping for her swift and safe return.

In a small, dimly lit room, Lian and her team sat around a table. A picture of a rich man, Chen Pei , was pinned to a board. Everyone knew he was doing bad things.

After some thought, Chief Wei Xi finally spoke up. "We've heard that Chen Pei often visits a particular club downtown. He goes there to meet with some of his contacts. That could be our best chance to get close to him."

They were planning as they were about to capture one of the richest man who sells illegal drugs in the city.

"Officer Lian Qiang will be our bait. She will be our undercover since she have some skills." The Chief stated and everyone in the room nodded, agreeing to what they have been planned.

After an hour of planning about how to deceived the criminal, they all left the room and prepare for the time to come to as they were about to be heading to a night club. One of the famous club around the city.

"Officer Lian, come with me." One of the members of the Orphan Mission, Officer Wen Bai.

She followed her inside the room when a huge vanity mirror caught her eyes. Its surface cluttered with various makeup items: brushes, eyeshadows, lipsticks, and more. Took a minutes before everything was all set up to start.

"Take a sit, Officer." Wen Bai commanded as she was ready putting her a make-up on her face. "I'll make you beautiful for your mission, Officer." Wen Bai smiled focusing while putting an eyeshadow to her.

"Why would you make me beautiful when I was just trying to capture a criminal?" She scoffed.

Wen Bai laughed, "You will caught their attention if ever. Maybe, if that happens, this mission will be successful."

"I hope so."

Lian Qiang gazed into the mirror after the make-up session, her eyes searching the reflection for the familiar features she knew so well, yet today, they seemed different.

"OMG, you look so beautiful, Officer Lian!" Wen Bai exclaimed feeling so proud about her skills.

"Thank you." She just smiled.

The next thing she did was she wore the dress that Wen Bai wanted to wear for her. Lian Qiang looked at the clothes she wore. It was a short red dress and tall black shoes. The dress was tight and showed her neck. She also wore big gold bracelets and long earrings. It might be weird for her because she's not used to wearing this type of clothing but she chose not to think about it for now. She had to forced herself and determined to finish this mission tonight.

She put on dark eye makeup and red lipstick. She let her hair hang down. When she looked in the mirror, she looked different. She was dressed like this for her mission, even if it felt strange.

By the time they were done, the room was filled with determination. They had a clear plan in place to capture Chen Pei and put an end to his illegal activities.
