Chapter 30: Battle in the skys!!

A massive sphere of purple fire lit up the sky, like a falling star it plummeted downwards, heading to consume a city below it.

(Boom)

But it was prevented from destroying the city, as a large blue beam of energy came hurling from the center of the island, blocking the purple comets decent.

The impact destroyed buildings and roads as the two clashed for dominance, the night sky lit up into blue and purple flashes that illuminated the island and the surrounding sea.

In the center of the partially destroyed city, Kazuki stood alone inside a growing crater as he fought too prevent the giant fireball from destroying the massive island he was on.

Kazuki gritted his teeth as he felt himself sink into the ground below him, his arms were shaking and his bones we're beginning to feel like jelly.

Everything felt heavy, like nothing he had ever felt before, sweat soaked his entire body and his vision began to blur, due to the heat of his KI and the ball of purple fire blaring directly down on him.

White flames wrapped around his body as he used his KI coat to block out the heat and debris flying around him.

Kazuki grunted as he felt his KI start to drain fast due to using his KI coat.

His body was also beginning to feel brittle from the huge toll of using his KI for so long, the continuous consumption was causing him to have multiple waves of exhaustion and pain hit him repeatedly.

But he didn't falter, continuing to keep pushing back the enormous sphere of fire.

Kazuki grunted as he felt his kamehameha began to get pushed back again, but he managed to get keep it too a standstill, as he kept sending more KI into his attack.

His arms suddenly got burned as he lost control of his KI coat, but luckily his healing factor kicked in, slowly getting rid of the burns and healing his body.

Kazuki growled as felt himself sink deep into the ground. "Ugh damn it, this can't be my limit! Come on!" He hollered, forcing himself to not take another push back.

He then felt everything became monstrously heavy, as the purple fire ball increased in size, now matching the entire island as it glowed like a ominous sun.

Kazuki was almost forced down too his knees as his muscles began to get ripped apart, his healing factor to slow to heal him causing blood to gush the ground below him.

He yelled in pain but still managed to keep his attack steady as he stood his ground, straining in vain to keep pushing his already burnt out KI to it limit.

He felt the once bottomless pit feel empty as he kept pouring his all to stop the purple sun from killing him and everything on the island.

His kamehameha suddenly wavered and lost some stability, causing Kazuki to get pushed down into his growing crater.

"Come on! I can't lose here! Not when I'm going to be the strongest, in this world, and then go FURTHER BEYOND IT!" Kazuki yelled fearlessly as he decided to erupt everything he had left in a last attempt to push back the sphere.

Suddenly small blue sparkles appeared around his KI coat, Kazuki began to feel a gentle KI enter his reserves, filling it slightly up.

Kazuki grunted as he sent lump of the mysterious KI into his attack, causing the crater below him to increase as his Kamehameha increased in size and intensity.

The ground cracked around him, than it began to shatter into fragments, as his KI blazed a bright blue around him like a flame.

Kazuki felt his body nearly collapse because of this action but he pushed himself past the pain, in a effort to push the fireball further back.

Kazuki grunted but found himself smirking as he felt his himself gain a inch, then it turned into five, then eight. Till his kamehameha started to visibly push the purple sphere of fire back into the sky.

Kazuki dug his feet further into the destroyed ground as he glared at a now visible Mako, whose body looked to be breaking apart as one of its arms crumbled away.

"Why, why, why!" Mako's loud scream reverberated through the battlefield in rage.

Mako used all its energy and even sacrificed a arm to increase the size of its fire, but it looked in stunned horror as Kazuki pushed its purple sun high into the sky.

"WHY CANT YOU JUST DIE!" Mako screeched in anger before it grabbed its leg and ripped it off, the leg then suddenly crumbled away like dust.

Kazuki was abruptly forced down to one knee as the purple sun again increased in size, it grew till it eclipsed the moon hanging in the sky behind it.

Buildings began to melt and the ocean churned as whirlpools formed, nearly capsizing the ships at port and the marines ships not far from the island.

"Fuck, where is it…getting this much power!" Kazuki yelled as he attempted to stand back up, but exhaustion hit him hard as he struggled to continue pushing his KI out.

Mako floated high in the sky laughing hysterically, as its watched the purple sun began decending downwards again.

"YES! Everyone dies, my mission is.."

"BETA 1: Doom shot!"

Mako was unexpectedly blasted from behind by a large dark red beam, that then sent it crashing down into a couple melted buildings where it created a crater upon landing.

The sphere of fires size suddenly decreased, noticing this Kazuki quickly stood back up on his two feet, he then put his all to push back the sphere of fire, erupting his KI again.

"HHHAAAA!" Kazuki hollered, as the blue KI wrapped around him began to leave as he sent it to traveled up his kamehameha wave, causing it to further double in size and push the sphere higher into the sky.

(Boom)

Mako struggling to sit up among a pile of rubble, watched frozen as the blue beam grew in size, at that moment the beam started to force the sphere of fire to ascend higher and higher into the sky.

"No!" Mako yelled as it pushed itself to sit up, it reached for its remaining leg, ready to rip it off and increase the power of it's sun.

(Bang)

But before Mako could sacrifice its limb, a metal pole struck the top of it's head, sending Mako plummeting deep into the rubble below it, causing debris to fly around.

"Can't have you doing that shit again." Peinto muttered as he phased through the ground and pressed his staff against Mako's chest.

Mako suddenly then felt its remaining energy leave, as the metal like staff pressed against its stomach to prevent it from sitting up.

"W-what is this! M-move! Get away, fr-I'm me, my mis-io…" Mako struggled to even talk as its energy drained at a rapid pace.

Peinto was shocked when the black shadow body suddenly began to distort and bubble before collapsing to the ground and fading away into the rubble.

He was startled to see a unconscious large black bird appear where Mako was, pinned to the ground by his staff.

Peinto looked at the animal with confusion before shaking his head and using his staff to pick up the bird.

"What a weird day." Peinto muttered, but he quickly looked in the sky as the purple sun shined bright along with Kazuki's blue wave.

The sky shined a bright blue mixed with purple as Kazuki's bright blue beam carried the purple sun further into the sky till it reached the atmosphere.

Kazuki stopped sending his KI when he saw it reach high enough, he then let his kamehameha explode causing the purple sun to implode also.

(Boom)(Boom)

Everyone seeing the battle had to close there eyes as a bright purple and blue explosion seemed to turn day to night around them.

But civilians, marines and pirates alike who were able to witness the phenomenon, stared frozen in shock while others bowed down low to the ground, praying to there gods.

Even those far out at sea and island miles away on the grand line, looked at the night sky in shock as it turned into day for a moment before turning back to normal.

"Fucking hell!"

Yukimura tried to block the light using his marine coat, but he still saw fuzzieness when the light of the explosion finally disappeared.

Shaking his head he stared up at the sky in shock, his hands began trembling as sweat dripped down his head.

In the night sky the moon shined bright, revealing the clouds pushed back to make a massive circle that exceeded the size of the island.

"What in the world are we dealing with!" Yukimura muttered as he gripped his sword to stop his trembling.

He suddenly snapped his head towards the destroyed city. "Wait, this is my chance! Kill him before he becomes a bigger threat!"

Yukimura glared as he got up and started running towards the city, he disappeared like a ghost as he ran at breakneck speeds.

"KAZUKI!"

He heard a yell as he neared the massive crater, he quickly ran to hide behind a pile of rubble, peeking out to scan his surroundings below.

Bloom and Dian slid down the crater as they rushed towards a bloody passed out Kazuki, they flenched at his exposed eruptured arms and chest as blood pooled around him.

"Hurry we got to stop the bleeding!" Bloom said as she ignored the blood and pulled out several rolls of bandages from her pocket.

Dian nervously grabbed a roll and started helping her wrap Kazuki's arms. "Aren't we supposed to stitch him up or something?"

Bloom shook her head as she pulled out another roll. "No, he can heal himself just look at his arms, there slowly stitching back together, we just have to prevent him from bleeding out further."

Dian looked down in shock at the bloody arm she was holding, Blooms words were confirmed as the arm while continuing to bleed, the muscles and skin were slowly regenerating.

"Damn that's cool, kinda like a…"

(Boom)

They snapped there heads up, just as a white blur flew over them into a pile of rubble, causing a large dust cloud to spread out.

Bloom stood up while looking at the cloud with wariness and fear, she didn't have her beta glove anymore, after she used its full power to hit Mako it was then destroyed..

She grounded her teeth, she was defenseless, Dian didn't have any energy left and Kazuki was passed out and injured.

"We need to get out of here fast, and fin…"

"Get down!" Dian urgently yelled as she suddenly tackled Bloom to the ground, just as a large blue energy slash flew over them.

The slash hit the side of the crater, causing rocks and dust to blow over the girls and Kazuki as it left a large trail that carved into the ground.

"Tch, lucky little crew you bunch are but unluckily, you encountered that thing that was trying to destroy the island and for protecting it, you have my deepest appreciations but it's time to nip this in the bud and end your little adventures."

Both girls quickly got to there feet as a voice filled with rage spoke from above them, standing over the crater they could only make out a black figure, as the dust around them started to disperse.

Bloom clenched her fist as a nervous sweat dripped down her face. "W-wait, is that thing still alive."

Dian bit her lip as she used her little remaining energy to use her eyes to see through the already thinning smoke, her yellow eyes suddenly widened and her body abruptly started to shake.

Bloom snapped her head towards Dian when her body started to shake and grabbed her arm tightly as she looked at her in worry.

Dian snapped her head towards Bloom with fear in her eyes. "Bloom we need to leave now! It's a Rear Admiral!" She yelled as she turned her head back to see the now clear figure standing above them.

A tall man with long, curly brown hair and thick lips with big nose, he had no face hair and a stern face.

He wore a slightly tattered dark-blue suit over a gray shirt with a crimson tie and a damaged Marine coat hanging from his shoulders like a cape.

Blooms eyes widened as she stared at the Marine who glared at her while clinching the sword in his hands.

"Oh shit!"
