Chapter 23: Island festival?!

Their green ship sailed pass the canal entrance where they spotted a lighthouse on the on the side of the mountain.

Peinto leaned on the railing looking around in confusion, "I don't see anyone here?

Dian walked to stand beside him, "I would be surprised if someone did live here, with the huge influx of pirates bet it was attacked more than a few times."

"But it looks undamaged…"

Kazuki looked at the lighthouse with disinterests as he looked back out at sea, "Hey, so where are we going to now?"

Bloom laid a large map on a table Peinto brought out, "This map isn't exactly accurate but it will give us a reference on where we are." She said pointing towards the to the huge mountain range spread across the map.

"This is the grandline entrance, the twin capes we're in now Kazuki, but more importantly this is the the pirates graveyard!" She said slamming her hands on the table.

"The grandline also known as paradise is terrible, there's even this famous super rookie pirate named Cavendish his bounty is three-hundred million!" Bloom said putting her hands on her hips looking worried.

"We have to remain vigilant in case anything or anybody body attacks us, especially because we might have to stay on these islands for a while." She said nervously pacing.

Kazuki looked at her with a confusion, "Why would we have to stay long, can't we just sail forward or island too island?"

Bloom shook her head as she pointed at the map, then at her wrist, where a log pose compass was mounted on a bracelet.

"No, this is known as a log pose, it has too record the islands magnetic field before it then points us too the next island and so on."

"This is the only know way to get too the one piece, no other method is currently known."

"I was hoping to use this lighthouse as a starting point but its already pointing us somewhere." Bloom said looking at the pose needle in its glass dom spin before pointing in a random direction.

Kazuki jumped around excitedly as he looked out into the ocean, since he got a view of the world when crossing reverse moutain he could barely contain himself.

He was so excited, "Ok, let's get to sailing!" He said running to abjust the sails as Bloom smiled and went to the wheel.

As they started sailing they soon encountered unimaginable weather changes, large blizzards appeared with enormous ice bergs suddenly coming from the sky, barreling down towards there ship.

Luckily Kazuki destroyed them before harm could come but suddenly as the blizzard came it vanished.

Only for unbearable heat too in gulf the area next, no cloud was in the sky as the sun beamed down with unimaginable heat .

Kazuki leaned on the ships railing as he wiped the sweat out of his eye. "Please god give us anything, but not this anymore."

Peinto laid on the ground pouring buckets of sweat as he reached out his hand. "K-Kazuki i-if I don't make i-it." His eyelids fluttered as they began to close.

Kazuki rushed to his side grabbing his hand as his sweat mixed with tears. "NO, Peinto you have to make it, you have a dream to accomplish!" He yelled clutching his hand.

Peinto cried as he tightened his hand but his grip soon lost strength as it slipped out of Kazuki grip.

Alarmed he grabbed Peinto's body, "NO, no there has to be something I can do!" Kazuki said alarmed, frantically looking around.

He gently set Peinto's body down as he looked around, spotting a glass cup with green liquid in it, he hurried to grab it.

But as he gently walked back to Peinto body, he froze as the body laid there stiff with no signs of breathing.

"Peinto?"

(Clap)(clap)(clap)

Bloom, Dian and Ba clapped as they sat in lawn chairs, drinking iced cold beverages watching the act the boys were putting on since they were bored.

They did several acts so far that they started rating them on the acting performance, so far it has been sevens, four and nine rating.

They been sailing like this for an hour with no island still in sight so they been just chilling enjoying the environmental changes.

Bloom marveled at how calm everyone was taking the grandline, when she was with Rufus, fear was the only thing they associated with the grandline.

Monsters larger than a island, vicious merman who could sink your ship without you even noticing, vicious pirates with amazing devil fruits that caused massacres.

This was a place that no normal people could just sail through into the unknown with amount of fear, she just hoped these were the people she could count on if something happens.

Bloom let out a sigh as she sipped her drink and watched as a new play started, 'At least it will be entertaining.' She thought with a smile

"I see a island in the distance!" Peinto hollered as he looked into the distance with a telescope.

A half day went by with them not seeing anything noteworthy so they were either training or doing random activities together.

Bloom looked at the island in the distance with a stern face, there was no telling what they would encounter on there first island.

As they got closer enough, they were able to see that the island was actually a giant open clam with a huge town centered in the middle.

It seemed like a parade or festival was going on with various rides scattered around and stalls set up, tons of people with either there with family or couples were seen holding hands walking together.

"Wow it looks awesome, wonder what there celebrating." Peinto said looking in wonder when fireworks went off, lighting the sky in various colors.

"Ooh let's go, let's go!" Kazuki shouted looking excited at the fun people looked to be having.

"Look there's even other pirates here enjoying themselves." Dian pointed to a couple pirate groups running around having fun.

Bloom looked apprehensive but caved when Dian and Kazuki gave her a look with there lips trembling, Peinto tried to do so as well but it looked disgusting to her.

"Fine go, I'll stay with the ship, got a couple experiments I want to conduct, watch out for yourselves and eachother." Bloom said as everyone mocked saluted her before jumping off the ship after docking.

Bloom shook her head watching them go, "How long do we have to stay here anyway." She muttered to herself as she walked into her lab.

Unaware to anyone except Ba a couple eyes trailed the group and ship, Ba yawned as she smirked.

"Ooh this will be fun to watch." Ba said as she stretched her body before leeping to stand on the ships railing, this should give her a front row seat.

"Yahooooo." Kazuki yelled as he threw his hands into the air, he was riding down his fourth rollercoaster having a blast.

He went on other rides but every time he would feel eyes on his back causing him to look around in confusion when he say no one.

But when he went on the rollercoasters, he no longer felt the eyes on his back so he stuck with riding them since they were also fun.

But suddenly the tracks rattled as they broke apart, startled Kazuki pried the seat belt off of him as he jumped up grabbing some of the passengers while throwing others high into the air.

He jumped down while the people he was carrying clung to him while screaming till he landed and everyone climbed off of him and looked in horror at the falling people in the sky.

Kazuki jumped up and managed to grab everyone who was falling and set them down with the group.

(Boom)

Everyone was taken aback as a the roller-coaster exploded into a blaze of fire, looking around and confirming that no one managed to get hurt, they immediately ran to surround Kazuki.

"Thank you, so much, oh my god."

"Your a hero, holy crap that scared me."

"Holy $&@, what the &@$&."

Kazuki shyly rubbed that back of his head while crowed around everyone, but he looked back at the roller coaster with narrowed eyes in suspicion.

Peinto held a bow and arrow as he stood with a group of people taking turns to shoot at the targets lined up.

He took a couple deep breaths as he concentrated on the target, he hasn't shot from a bow in years but it he rememberd that it used to make him feel calm when he would shoot.

He hasn't shown it but he was nervous, this was the grandline and even though he wasn't fearful it made him feel unprepared.

What if Kazuki was away and someone attacked the ship, Dian would be ok with her magic but him and Bloom would be vulnerable.

Since his fighting style wasnt revolved around fighting multiple people he wouldn't be able to fight and protect her, and if they take her out he would then get surround.

It would be just like what happened back on his island, he would have phase and run away. But he couldn't do that to Kazuki, not to his friends.

Inhale, exhale.

Peinto took a deep breath before he released his arrow, it then flew in the air for a moment before striking just below the targets mark.

Peinto smiled, this really was a great hobby he should pi…

(Boom)

Suddenly bullets and arrows flew through him as he turned fully into his phased form, glowing slightly bright as he distorted space.

"What the fuck." Peinto looked around bewildered as the people around looked at him with shock and fear while also looking at the people who shot at him with terror.

The people who shot at Peinto looked frozen for a second before dropping to the floor unconscious, causing those around them to rush to there aid or back up in fright.

Peinto stood there looking shocked and confused as he looked around trying to find anything to understand the situation.

"What the hell is going on." Peinto said backing away from everyone before turning around to run away, he didn't know what was going on but he needed to get back to his crew asap.

"Oh my god, they have everything here." Diane squealed as she clutched a pack of cards.

She was walking around looking at the stalls that were set up, just window shopping when she came across a tent selling magic merchandise.

"I can't believe the double sided mirror was being sold here, definitely would have gotten it a couple months ago." Dian muttered as she smiled looking at some of the items she used in her shows.

She toured the whole east blue in search of real magic putting on shows to earn a income and continue her search's.

It was dangerous so she would hire bodyguards for the shows but she would mostly travel solo dolo with her gun and bag of magic tricks.

So coming to the grandline wasn't something she was nervous about, hell she was internally bouncing around like Kazuki for the adventure.

Now that she has not only the ability to wield real magic but a teacher to guide her down the path, she was ecstatic for the shenanigans she and her friends would get into.

"DIAN, WATCH OUT BEHIND YOU!" She heard a voice that sounded like Peinto's scream out causing her to turn around only to see a giant boulder coming right at her.

Throwing her hands up, her eyes turned yellow as she yelled. "Vestibule: 6th circle - heretics wall."

The space around her distorted as it looked like air ripples were making a shield that cracked with purple energy.

(Boom)

The giant rock impacted her shield blowing up into fragments as a dust cloud from the boulder surrounded the area.

"Cough, cough."

Bloom waved her hand in front of her looking vigilant at her surroundings to see if anyone was about to attack.

"Dian, are you alright!" Peinto suddenly appeared beside her startling her as he phased through from ground up.

"Yeah, what the hell is going on, how did a giant rock suddenly appear?" Dian said looked at a bewildered Peinto.

He shook his head before pointing at the direction he came from. "I don't know but I almost died just now, for some reason the people aimed there weapons at me, shooting before suddenly passing out."

Dian looked at him with shock and worry looking at him for any injuries too which he told her he was fine because of his ability.

Nodding Dian looked around at the crowd of people who were looking at them with fear and confusion.

"Hey we shou…"

"Peinto, Dian!"

They both turned around to see Kazuki running towards them, half way he jumped over towards them landing in front of them as he looked around with a frown on his face.

"Something isn't right, I feel like we're being followed and something strange just happened to me." Kazuki said looking at them.

Dian nodded, "Yeah we should head back to the shi…" her eyes widened just as Peinto's and Kazuki's did.

"BLOOM!"
