Instinctively, I stood from my place with a precautionary step backward when Lila approached me.

“Can we talk??”

She requested and I took another step back, her small stint in Florence came back into my mind refreshing her maliciousness.

“I am busy..” I spoke hurriedly intending to leave when she blurted out the real purpose of approaching me.

“Be quick, I need to leave soon,” I told her impatiently and she gave me an apologetic smile.
