“I would love to make an apology for that day, Amy, if you allow me…” Very sweetly, Tom brought me back to the present and even when I didn’t want to reminisce about the past.

Here, I am again with my past making it my present or future too maybe.

“Uhm… That won’t be necessary, actually… besides, I was just walking by, actually…” I stepped away from him trying to be sure to not stumble, because if I did I knew he would catch me and again I would be struck by his charm.

Before Derek, only Tom was the man whom I considered as more than 10.

“Oh, so you live near here…” He asked, intrigued.

“Yeah, Berlin Mitte…” I revealed and his smile widened.

“That’s great, in this case, you can come over here anytime, it’s nearby…”

I couldn’t understand why he was beaming with my address close to the Cafe and without pondering much, I just stepped away, “I should be going…”
