“Oh, here you are…”

My mother exclaimed in relief when she saw me standing safe and alive at the door.

“How’s your headache, now, Amy, dear?” She caressed my hair as she asked softly and then led me to the sofa.

Headache? Me?

“Last night when son Derek called me, I was so worried for you but knowing that he would take care of you, I felt calmed…”

My mother again started high praises for Derek and I suppressed the urge to roll my eyes.

“Mother, please, stop calling him “son” he is my boss,” I told my mother unhappily and she gave me a strange look.

“He is the one who asked me to call him “son” because he’s just like my child, Amy…” My mother spoke innocently.

How easily Derek could trap someone with his sweetness.

“So, then should I consider him a “Brother” mother?” I was just pointing out a fact when my mother seemed to agree to it giving me a huge thunder shock.

“No… He isn’t my brother,” I snapped with the realization of what we did and his mark inside my belly.
