Time spent by, or moments, I had no idea.

In the haze, I tried to focus on the surroundings but I couldn’t make out properly no matter how hard I tried.

Giving up, I closed my eyes.

Waiting for the worst.

I heard footsteps but I didn’t have the courage to open my eyes, nor did I hear the chaos happening outside until I felt something crashing heavily near my ear bringing back my senses.

“Amy??” Startled, I sat up with burning pain in my cheek, and there I saw the man in the flesh, my knight, Derek Shepherd.

“Amy…” He called out, looking anxiously but I couldn’t respond. I was too weak and the burning in my cheek started to tingle my skin.

And making it worse, Derek started to pat the same place.

“Talk to me… What’s wrong??”

I frowned and tried to open my mouth…

“H…E…L…P”

Just four letters, and then I was spun in the wind directly into a warm embrace.

And then everything around me started to move.
