I was in the middle of a garden catching a beautiful butterfly when someone shook me slightly and I opened my eyes in a daze.

“We’re near.”

Sitting up, I realized that this route is nowhere close to my house.

“Where are we going?” I rubbed my eyes, my voice hoarse as I turned to Derek.

He gave me an evil smile that instantly prickled my scalp and my heart rate accelerated in panic.

“Don’t worry, I am not kidnapping you…” He dropped his evil smile and returned to his calmness, making me sigh in relief secretly.

“Where are you taking me?” After a moment of calming my thumping heart, I asked him politely.

After all, he can’t be forcing me in any way.

And don’t forget it was you who started all of this, Amy.

My inner voice came, taunting me.

Ok, I did choose him for my plan but I had no idea that this man would turn out as my new boss and I would be stuck with him in this way.
