AMY POV :

“Here…”

I sensed Derek dropped his hand from my eyes and then stepped away from me.

Curiously, I opened my eyes, what could be this surprise which would make me mad hmmm??

BLINK … BLINK

Slowly, I opened my eyes, and they soon dilated from the unexpected shock.

A massive painting of mine was hung above my bed, I remembered it exactly, it was from the very first date Derek prepared for me.

He put me into that sexy red silk dress, and how could I forget that giant pendant he gifted me that night?

Did he still have it??

I was mesmerized by the depth of the painting when two warm hands came around my neck and I saw the exquisite piece of diamond sparkling, blinding me momentarily.

Absent-minded, I stepped back and bumped into Derek.

BOOM

“I can’t accept this…” I stuttered nervously.

“But it's already yours…” He whispered in my ear as he put that sparkling necklace around my neck filling my heart with warmth.

How could he still keep that diamond saved for me?
