“Is this it??”

I looked at the apartment building in front of me and raised my brow in doubt at Derek.

He shared the same emotions, as he tried to confirm the location with the address.

“Hmm, yeah, it says the third floor, we need to go to the third floor.”

With his command, we both took the stairs and went straight to the third floor.

“Mr. Shepherd?

Miss Hood?”

A young man approached us, and we nodded our heads in acknowledgment.

“Please come,” The man led us the way into his home, I guess, and then stopped making me more curious with each second.

Afraid, I held Derek’s arm to stop him from following him further.

Sensing my worry, he calmly took my hand in his embrace and then gave me the warmest smile, “Don’t worry.”

Somehow his smile eased the worry in my heart and I looked at him in faith.

“This is all I was able to do at such short notice,” The young guy stepped away showing us a small balcony, decorated beautifully with small shimmer lights all around it.
