The Battle Has Finally Begun

"Markus let's try to get outta the jungle area and head to the city."

[markus]

"Yeah you're right we should go, oh and be on the lookout for points cause i got an idea in my head but I need to know it works first."

[parker]

"Tell me about It man, what type of idea is it."

[markus]

"Well it's about the points and all but essentially I remembered ultima saying that the points will reappear after a short time. So that got me thinking where would they reappear and from that alone I came across the idea that they reappear in the same area as before so we could theoretically speaking make a trail of points and travel on it to collect as many points as we can."

[parker]

"Hmm sounds smart, wait if ultima said a short time that would have to be between 10 and 5 minutes right."

[markus]

"Yeah nice deduction man. So let's test our theory out now, let's go back to the place where we found the point."

[parker]

"It might be dangerous but let's give it a shot."

[markus]

"Alright let's go (we just collected that point about 6 minutes ago so if we're right about this it should've reappeared by now or in a few more minutes. But if that's the case then

why would this test be easier than other tests my family members took. I swear i feel as though something isn't right"

[markus]

"Hey parker don't you think it's weird that the points reappear and stuff."

[parker]

"What do you mean by that."

[markus]

"What i'm trying to say is that the test just feels weirdly easy for some reason. Think about it, aren't these tests supposed to be really hard and stuff to separate the gifted from the ungifted."

[parker]

"Yea that makes sense. Oh something else that i find strange as well is the fact that ultima is the examiner for the test. Why would she cover for an examiner when she's literally a first class officer. Doesn't she have more important matters to attend to."

[markus]

"Yeah I actually didn't even think about that too. Wait actually there have been tons of reports that second class officer ISM was spotted around this area too. He's famous for being the strongest rock user in this day and age."

[parker]

"What could they be hiding from us actually."

[markus]

"I don't know but whatever it may be is just plain weird."

[parker]

"Yea really weird, oh we're getting closer to the point site, (someones here) markus do you feel that."

"Yeah I do, someones watching us waiting for the perfect moment to strike."

[parker]

"Go now, I'll hold 'em off for now."

[markus]

"One of em is behind us strictly to your left following and mirroring your movements and the other is well hidden but he's around me, I can very faintly hear clicks from time to time so be careful. I can assure you that they don't know that we know, because they would've attacked us already."

[parker]

"Yeah that's true, tell you what i'll knock out the guy behind us and then you make a dash for it (i'm pretty good at getting people off guard, and one good punch to the chin should do the trick. Although the one that's hidden will still be a problem I will at least be able to take out his teammate)"

[markus]

"I trust you now don't let me down."

[parker]

"You know me, I would never let you down. Now … tough luck kiddo but i gotta pass so good night."

"What the hell, (how is he so fast, shit i won't be able to dodge in time, ima have to use my ability now) steel face."

"(Shit i won't be able to stop in time, if anything my index finger is gonna be broken, this is bad)"

"(I got one but my fingers are killing me, but strangely enough my index finger is completely fine. That doesn't really matter right now, what matters is me finding the other one)"

"(my teammate got knocked out already, shit this is bad, if that guy gets a good shot on me then i'm screwed. But i should be fine nonetheless he won't be able to track me down, i should just finish it while i have the chance)"

"(What are these noises, sounds like a tap tap tap kinda of noise, its coming from multiple directions too. Damn i should be caref- … what the fuck, i was just punched)"

"You won't be able to see me at all, so just give up."

"Where are you hiding, come out already."

"Why would i give myself up for you, this is a test, we're supposed to be against each other."

"Oh yeah, ignore what i just said please."

"Not a chance doofus."

"(if he's just straight up talking to me like this then he must be confident in his ability) hey the least you can do is pass me your name."

[allen]

"Sure why not, the names Allen. What's yours."

[parker]

"The names parker."

[allen]

"Well sorry to say this parker but you're at the end of the line. There's absolutely no way in hell that there's a way to beat me. "

"You pack a really heavy punch but it's not enough … to take me down. (i have to come up with a way, a way to beat him dammit. What could his ability even be though, shit i gotta think i gotta think)"

[allen]

"Think fast parker, you're gonna fall down eventually."

[parker]

"(there it is again, the tapping noise. I always hear that right before an attack, what could that noise even mean. Dammit if only markus were here, he would know what to do. But at least I know he's gonna attack, but from where."

[allen]

[parker]

"At least someone's having fun here, am I right."

[allen]

"You bet your ass, I'm having a blast. Come on just give up already, you won't be able to beat me."

"(I'm putting the data I collected together, and this guy just attacks at random, he has no type of pattern that i can follow. Although at least I know when and a little bit of where he'll attack me based on my data. Wait now that I think about it, Those sounds remind me of the type of sounds bats make while using echolocation, but if he's even using echolocation why would he be using it in the first place. Does his own ability hinder his sight)"

[allen]

"Looks like you know when i'll be attacking you via the clicks that i make, although even if you do know that you'll never be able to find me or even defend yourself for that matter."

[parker]

"(damn he's so cocky, the man is even confirming my theories. Dammit what did markus even say again, Oh that's right "the other is well hidden but he's around me, I can very faintly hear clicks from time to time." dammit if only i listened, I would have already known that. But like markus said he's well hidden but it feels like he's nowhere to be seen, it's like the man is invisible ... Wait that could be it, yeah it definitely is. Because theoretically speaking if someone were to turn invisible they wouldn't be able to see a thing. I know what to do now)"

"Hey look man, I'll even stop for just a bit so that you can ease up and relax, but right after that ima go back to punching you. You got that."

[parker]

"Like I would believe you in the first place (he's not lying, I can't hear any type of clicking noise. Looks like he got tired himself, I should try to look around and do small talk so that i can get him off guard. Shit i hope this works out in the end)"

[allen]

"Why would I lie about that, after all I do feel bad for pummeling you left and right."

[parker]

"Oh is that so huh, well let's say I were to find you, would you give up."

[allen]

"Sure, I would give up, I mean after all I am a man of my word so knock yourself out. You got a minute and counting so go for it (it's not like he's gonna be able to find me but whatever, it shouldn't matter at all)"

[parker]

"(i gotta use the time i got to the fullest in order to find him, shit where could he be. Dammit, dammit, dammit. Shit i gotta keep calm or else i'll forget about the information i have. Ok so if the guy can make himself invisible then how is he going about it, is he deflecting the photons in a little area around him or is he deflecting the photons that are around him and his clothes. Hmm since he's tired there's a possibility that the area got bigger around him and he can't do it as precisely as before. Or he could still be controlling it as precisely as before. "Hmm good job, so you noticed that the tree behind me looked strange, Jesus. I got too cocky."

"Yeah you really are cocky, you probably would've beat me too if you had just taken me out before but that doesn't matter any more so as you agreed, give up."

"(it's about time i catch up with markus, I should get going now, yeah now that i think about it let me skedaddle before someone else comes to finish me off)
