Memories that Broke me

Remembering those times make me so happy. Those laughs, smiles, tears and cries. All were just a piece of beautiful art. I wish I could stay there longer.

"Clyde! Our Head want you in his office." My officemate shouted as he passed by my work station.

I dropped the pliers, unequiped my cloth gloves and went on my way. I worked as an engineer. I'm the guy that makes does laser securities and heavy electronic arms. That was my job. I work for a government paid facility. We make the security systems and sometimes high powered weaponry like our 24ft long 4ft wide 1500watt railgun.

I rushed my way to my Head's office. I came through his door and greeted me with a smile. It is very unusual for him to smile.

"Clyde, it is very nice for you to be here." He told me. "Listen, I got some good news for you."

"What is it sir?"

"Well, this is much of a intriguing topic for most people so If I were you I'd stay quiet."

"According to what I've heard, our government just made the biggest breakthrough in our whole existance."

"What is it then sir?" I asked.

"To get straight to the point, we have found a similar Earth. A sort of single world equilibrium and stuff. A dimension, a term Sci-Fi writers use it on. Lately this passed few months, we have noticed encrypted signals randomly appearing in our comms. They said these signals were decrypted but seem to be inaccurate. Random patterned coordinates, misplaced locations, etc. Some of the IT members looked into this and found an oddity with the signals. It is unlike any other signal in the world, the most unique to be more clear. After a few months of tries, they found the answer."

"Sir, how is this related with me?"

"Here's the thing. They found a way to GO there, but they want to send the best. You are our Tinker Daredevil! The builder with no limits. You just don't know where to stop. Our facilitators decided to choose YOU for this first ever exhibition. You and other professionals will be exploring and investigating this new Earth we found."

"You'll be part of history! Don't you want that?" He asked.

I know it IS such a big deal. Almost no one is ever to experience such a thing. Plus, they promised full support to my Love.

All of the remittances, budget, bills, they got that covered. All I have to do is go there and do a research.
