Chapter 2: Disciple (Edited.)

{Later on it will not focus on cultivation this much, this is just laying foundation for information and abilities of Mc and the training of Shigeo}

After the monster incident, It took a week of rest for me to get a bit of my Qi back and be able to move for an hour straight without stopping. Shigeo was from a village so he could gather water and non-poisonous fruits without being caught by monsters. I also made sure he was trustworthy using some techniques I mastered and made sure to prepare in case he suddenly betrayed me or got brainwashed so I was fine for now.

Shigeo is doing fine and is now training his body to be ready for cultivation although I have not told him about cultivating yet since, he just wanted to become stronger but I am thinking about getting him to cultivate if he has the affinity for it.

I was considered "Thousand Blades" because of certain abilities, for example I have the ability which I wished from god which allowed me to copy any sword style or technique in an instant although that did not help me on my deathbed.

I also have the skill that I was born with which is {Perfect Sword Control} this skill allows me to control my sword perfectly when covering its Qi. I can make it fly or increase its sharpness and a number of other things. While I was recovering, I got some information about this world from Shigeo.

'I still do not know much about the world but from the information, monsters roam around and either get beaten by the military or random people with superhuman strength.' This was how the world was set up and it is a pretty weird world with monsters and it also has more advanced technology compared to normal earth, but the most important thing I found out is that there were no cultivators in the public which means they are either hidden or no one has cultivated yet.

I do have another ability that I have learned from other martial masters which is {Sword Duplication}. I can duplicate swords with my Qi, mix this with {Perfect Control} and that's how I earned the title (Thousand Swords). It makes me very powerful although, If you don't have experience then all this power is in vain.

There are certain levels in cultivating, Qi Gathering, Foundation, Gold core etc.. I am currently at Ascended,1. my power right now is a couple stages below that because of my injuries, it will take at least 9 years just to fully heal.

'I need to check my Qi Core, to see how damaged it is.' Exhaling deep breath, meditating half naked, with his pants and bondages, seated in a crossed legged, I drifted away to the darkness of my mind emptying myself of distraction.

The Qi Core takes Qi from the surroundings and stores it, after storing the Qi you can spread the stored Qi throughout your body over and over strengthening your body and purifying it although to store Qi and purify it you need a good body capable of handling the Qi before cultivating which is why I am training Shigeo.

After purification you can use the pure Qi to increase your cultivation level which increases your power when using your stored Qi to attack and increases everything else.

The other option is to increase your capacity to store Qi.

Within my inner world, I see my body in full detail, my organs, heart, and a small orb right in my rib cage with blue veins pulsing from the core and spreading throughout my body.

I envision seeing my Qi Core in closer detail and what I saw made me angry.

'Fuck! It's cracked.' I thought when I saw my Qi Core on closer inspection was cracked, which means I can't store nearly as much Qi as I could before, at least it did not break, if it broke then I couldn't cultivate anymore.

If it is cracked then it could be healed with Emperor level items or within three hundred years but based on my Qi right now and at the rate I'm going, I will only live for two hundred years at most.

'That means, I can only use 10% of my original abilities even if I heal up in 9 years. I still have my abilities and can still purify Qi although at a very slow rate and with the amount of Qi in this world, I will only gather a bit of Qi in 9 years.' The ground around me cracked because of the pressure I was releasing.

'Hopefully, there are no cultivators in this world near my level or else I am just fodder, my core is broken and can only l hold little Qi at most 20% of what I was originally capable of holding. I should focus on healing and gathering Qi before cultivating again.' At this moment I wished I still had my storage pouch to get some healing items and I could heal my whole body fully within 20 years then all I had to do is breakthrough and keep cultivating but that is out of the question now.

Since my core can only be healed in 300 years I cannot breakthrough since I need a full healed core to try to break through or the new Qi will overload the cracked core, so I am stuck at Half-Ascended realm with only 20% Qi and 10% of my original power.

I was angry enough to cut the world in half, at my full power I could cut this world in half because of its size, the other world was around six times bigger and around 10 times harder than this one so only Immortal Realm Cultivators could damage it badly and even if they did the world would kill them since it had its own mind although it only intervened in world changing matters.

"How long are you going to watch?" I spoke with my eyes still closed to Shigeo who was the person spying on me.

"..." Shigeo didn't respond with words, but with curiosity in his eyes.

I sighed "Have you eaten yet?"

Shigeo blinked as he pondered "Usually, I eat fruits and berries that I have gathered near the cave, I picked the non-poisonous one's because my dad and I usually go hunting when I was 7." He sniffed remembering his deceased father.

I stood up and walked up to the child patting him on the head. "Well, How about we have meat today?" I asked with a smile.

The boy's mood lightened up hearing about eating meat and nodded hurriedly.

I smiled before walking out of the forest and picking up my Katanas, equipping them on my sides.

I waved at the boy to follow me before heading into the forest with him happily following along.

After walking for an hour, we found a small boar. Seeing it, I smiled before crouching behind some bushes a few meters away from it. I turned around and put a finger on my mouth indicating

Shigeo to become quiet.

"Be quiet Shigeo, that is a boar which is very tough if you do not kill it fast. You are going to kill it with this." I touched a branch and layered it with a bit of my energy allowing it to not break and can cut a boar very easily.

I handed it to him.

"I have to fight with a branch!?" He had fear and confusion written all over his face.

"Just trust me and kill that thing with it, make sure to aim at the head. I will save you if anything happens."

The boy thought for a moment with his head down before looking up with confidence.

"Ok! I got this!" He said before grabbing it with enthusiasm.

I smiled before floating up into a tree.

He stood there looking before looking at the boar and charging it while screaming.

My face was morphed into shock at this scene. 'What the fuck is he doing! Who screams when attacking someone besides stupid people, I have to knock common sense in his head if I make him my disciple.'

The boar turned and saw the child coming at it with a stick and puffed smoke out of its nose before getting ready to charge by scuffing the dirt.

The boy kept charging, holding the stick in front of him like a spear and the boar charged forward ramming into the stick straight on.

The stick stopped the boar and killed it with the stick going halfway deep into the boar's head making blood drip along the stick which made Shigeo drop the stick and the boar fell to the ground.

He looked at the boar with anxious eyes before realizing he killed the boar by himself and pumped his fist into the air.

'He was lucky…..If the boar was bigger and smarter then it would have not run into an item that is pointing its way.' I thought while watching him before jumping down.

"Not bad" I said with enthusiasm approaching the child who turned around smiling when hearing me. "But" I flicked his forehead softly, making him jolt in pain.

"A surprise attack needs to be quiet, And why the hell did you scream? And never charge hoping they would just run into the weapon, you are lucky the boar is not very smart."

Shigeo put his hands on his forehead, easing up the pain. "Hehe, I thought it would be cool."

I walked to the bloody boar and slash it's head letting the blood flow out of it. "Don't do it again, if I did not apply my Qi on the stick and if the boar was smarter, you would have died long ago." I picked up the boar and lifted it over my left shoulder.

"Yes.. Sir." He said fidgeting "So umm.. What now?"

"Simple, we cooked it. Let's go." I said walking happily towards the cave with him following me.

.

After arriving at the cave I put it down to skin it. "Get some burnable materials and branches, and bring them to me" I said to the boy behind me, I applied some Qi on my hand and skinned the boar, taking out guts and other organs.

'Good thing my master made me hunt like a normal human for a couple of weeks in case I ever lost my cultivation or had no one to cook for me.' I was hailed as a prodigy thanks to my talents and skills so I had people serving me and well I did not like it although it was an easy life, I like doing things on my own.

After cutting the boar up and separating everything, Shigeo came with some branches and burnable materials, enough to cook for us. I placed the good, mostly un-fat meat on some skewers and placed them above the fire which I made with Qi. You can use a number of Qi elements and can also have special Qi veins.

I do not have a good affinity with elements like fire and such, so I became a sword user which does not use elements but can defend against them better. My Qi veins are the unique Wood type which allows me to absorb Qi and use it much more effectively then others.

There are different types of cultivators and well the most general are Sword Cultivators, Elemental Cultivators and Half Cultivators.

The first two are obvious by their names but the third is when you train in elemental and sword which does not cause problems and if you are a Immortal Half Cultivator, you are more powerful than Immortal Sword Cultivators. The problem is it takes way longer than doing one and most people don't have both talents, plus most people hunt Half cultivators so they don't become too strong.

If I had good affinities then I could have become a Half cultivator but I was not so lucky.

'I wonder if Shigeo has some good affinities with elements." I thought as I roasted the meat. Shigeo was sitting near me watching me cook with interest.

"Kid, do you perhaps know a way to get to the city?" I asked in hope I could get some clothes.

"Hmmm….Nope" He said with a smile and I facepalmed.

'Should I make my own? I can with the boar skin but it won't feel as good." I thought for a good second before feeling dumb."I can't beleive I forgot about my useless item spacial ring where I keep most of my useless items from when I was new to cultivating.' Over 570 years I gained many cultivating books, pill boost and many other things which were useless at my level but I kept them in case I ever get a disciple and if I am correct there should be clothes in there.

I checked my space ring, and a blue Yukata appeared out of thin air. I picked it up and wore it. Shigeo watches in awe.

"That's better" I said to myself while patting some dirt out of my knees "Now, lets test something real quick." I said before taking out an orb from my ring.

I placed it down on the ground in front of Shigeo.

"Place your hand on this, it will test your talent in cultivating elements and in the sword." It also tests for any special Qi veins or body structure but I won't tell him that since it will be hard to explain.

He looked at me confused hearing those words.

"Just think this is a test to see if you can learn my awesome abilities and don't tell anyone about cultivation stuff, just blame it on a sword style, got it!?" I asked him and he nodded in determination before putting his palm on the orb.

Suddenly information in the form of a mean appeared above the orb.

______

{Name: Shigeo}

{Trustworthy: Yes, thinks of you as a savior, Shigeo can be trusted with anything}

{Affinities for elements: None}

{Qi Veins: None}

{Unique Structures: None}

{Cultivation Talent: 20/100: Common}

{Sword Talent: 20/100: common}

{Overall: Trash potential}

______

Seeing that he is trustworthy I was happy so I decided to make him my disciple although the other things listed are surprising.

'No affinities for elements, that is rare the other things are common among non cultivators since most people only cultivate if they have 40+ talent in either sword or cultivation, the affinities only help when you have no sword talent whatsoever.' I thought before looking at the kid.

"Well kiddo, even though you weren't given talent I will make you strong! So want to become my disciple?" I asked him with a smile and he frowned at me saying no talent but when hearing my offer he nodded in happiness.

'At least I now have someone to have fun with and I felt bad for the kid so why not make him gain some power hehe.' This was most of the reason I accepted him as a disciple.

"Well let's celebrate by eating!" I said and grabbed a cooked meat skewer and cooled it off with some wind QI.

We ate for the night and soon three years passed by in a flash.
