"Okay, now I look like some sort of human chimera monster," Dan muttered as he looked at his body. A weirdly long nose, two extra arms, and a tail with a blade at the end of it.

So there is no way he even remotely looks like a human, even by this world's standard, which is enough to tell how weird he looks.

But the gacha for quirks wasn't over yet, and the system chose to give him something for which he couldn't decide whether to thank it.

[... congrats on gaining invisibility (quirk)]

[Invisibility (quirk): You are now invisible to everyone, and you can't control it. The invisibility would not be extended to your clothes]

"Oh! So, now I am also invisible. Well, this way is probably better, as no one will see this horrifying scene." Dan muttered as his body started to become transparent till his clothes were the only indication that he was there.

With this quirk, Dan was utterly invisible to anyone without any sensing ability, like Observation Haki.

Still, this was not the situation anyone wanted to be in, and Dan was pretty much helpless in the whole situation. He could have managed it somehow if it was only about extra arms and a tail, but now, all of this was entirely out of his hands.

'No, there is still hope. I could learn Life Return and get my previous face back. Then everything will be normal, yes that's what I should do,' Dan thought while feeding himself hope that he would not lose that last thing he had from his previous life.

The system announced Dan's final quirk as he steeled his resolve to learn Life Return at any cost.

Seeing this quirk's description, Dan blinked in surprise. He was expecting a quirk that would make him more monstrous, like extra legs or something along those lines. Instead, what he got was the solution to almost all his problems.

Then there was only one thought in his mind, 'This quirk is really ROB sent.'

With this, he can finally get rid of his useless quirks and maybe even earn some much-needed attribute points with it.

Dan instinctively knows how to use this quirk and how its mastery will affect the return he will get from it.

'System shreds extra toe and long nose quirks,' Dan said immediately. He really wants to get back his body back to normal.

[Shredding begins...]

Dan began to feel his nose getting restructured while the extra toe on his leg disappeared.

Dan felt some changes in his body, but this time there was no warm current or anything that indicated the system was increasing his physical abilities.

After looking at his stats, Dan thought, 'Now, let's get out of here.'

Before, he was waiting for his kidnapped or someone to come and say a few words to him. However, now it is clear they don't care about him, so he can't wait for them to be here as he has the perfect opportunity to escape.

Dan tries to control his tail, but it is too difficult. Therefore, he simply catches his tail with his extra hand, which he can control easily for some reason, and cuts the rusted chains binding his arms and legs.

After being freed, Dan immediately swung his tail toward the cell gate, which was easily cut down by it.

But just then, a man walked in with food in a bowl and saw the cell being cut down.

"What the hell?" He cried, unable to believe what he was seeing. A shirt and shorts flew in front of his face as if someone invisible was wearing them.

Dan was startled by that person screaming. He quickly closed the distance to ensure he didn't scream anymore and alert everyone that he had escaped. Still, his tail instinctively slashed toward him before he could do that.

*Slash*

*Thud*

*Thud*

The tail blade cuts that man in half as Dan watches all this in total confusion. He didn't order his tail to kill that man. He just wants to make sure that he doesn't run away and tell everyone what he saw just now.

His attention was immediately drawn to all the blood and organs spilled on the floor. He couldn't control his stomach as he puked right there.

'Wh-what did I just do?' Dan thought while closing his eyes, but his brain immediately showed him that same cursed image, and he vomited again.

Meanwhile, two more members also entered the room after hearing the shout.

When one of them saw one of their friends' bodies lying on the floor in two pieces, he exclaimed, "What the..."

While another person saw Dan covered in blood and shaking. He immediately rushed toward him with his knife, but a tail tore through his chest before he could attack him.

Suddenly, the second one snapped out of his shock. However, a frosty black substance covered his head before he even moved, and as he tried to remove it from his eyes, Dan immediately cleaved his head off.

*Thud*

As his severed head fell on the floor, Dan was the only living person left in the room with one thought: 'It was not me. It was the tail. I didn't kill anyone, I would never kill anyone...'

This was repeated like a chant, despite his hatred for it. He repeated in his head as he looked at the dead bodies around him.

After calming down and trying to think logically, which was downright difficult for him in this situation, Dan removed his clothes and used stainless to remove all the blood and dirt, making his body completely invisible.

Then he exits the room and moves toward the deck, hoping to leave the ship without any more bloodshed.

His luck, as usual, didn't want it to happen, as he saw three people standing on the deck, and he knew one of them well.

Daisy, the owner of Happy Hours, and the woman who saved his life were standing there talking with two men he didn't know.

While Daisy was here because she was trying to find him, he slowly got closer to them to hear them talking while getting ready to jump in to save her life if it was in danger. Now, he should have just left the ship when they were talking. Yet, Dan was curious to know what they were talking about, as he suspected they both had something to do with his kidnapping.

"Are you sure about that?" Daisy asked with a frown.

One of the men replied casually, "Yes," while the other nodded in confirmation.

"But since you are already here, why don't you spend some time with us, Daisy?"
