ANNOUNCEMENT

Greetings to you guys, I know I have not posted on this story for a long time, leaving it out without giving an update to the current situation with the story.

So I have good news and also bad news (However, this announcement will be mostly good news)

I will start off with the bad news which will be linked with the good news.

I have decided to rework-restructure my entire One Piece series story since for about one week I've been working on writing again my One Piece story, but obviously, an improved version that has most of the unnecessary contents of the first version be scrapped. Meaning? I've decided to cancel the work on the first version of the 'Blood Unleashed' or whatever you guys want to call it.

A good starting project that helped me a lot in finding my own writing style, and how to write a novel and story in general, and with a bitter smile I will tell you guys that I will stop posting on this story, and after I have more chapters come out with a fresher, and improved story.

Now that I've told you the bad news, let me give you a rundown of what this new project, the rework for this project, is like. In general, what I want to achieve with this newer rework/restructuring of the story, is to get to a conclusive ending without dragging the story with unnecessary content and detailing cacophony.

The story will still have old Vlad in the spotlight, but my approach to his adventure is truly different. In this new project, I work on, (I have about 15 chapters at the point I write to you) which is what one would expect from a One Piece series, an adventure with its twists and turns. Nonetheless, certain elements, characters, and settings have been kept, so for you guys who reached this point, you'll encounter those respective locations quicker, with the setups not being dragged.

I also abandoned the entire concept, such as "Hades - Dark Power" shenanigan, or the "Dark-Union" organization having a shadow grip over certain institutions of power in the WG, let's be honest, it was a drag, and it started annoying me setting up the secondary plotlines, this is why I scrapped those from the first moment I've planned out the restructuring.

Having plenty of content from Oda sensei, it would be stupid not to go with the flow, like the saying goes "If you can't beat them, join them." it fits my bills pretty much.

Besides this, one thing that has been improved in the restructuring is how he is sent off, you readers will not be subjected to a "history" lesson even though we will start with 2-3 chapters with Vlad in the medieval setting before being sent off, but trust me, nothing has been dragged out, no shenanigans, with "Mystical" powers, or "Gods", this is why I will leave it to you to find how he gets on with his journey, and I can bet money that you'll like it.

Another, restructured point, is how he will not be "subjected" to slavery shenanigans, such it is that you'll see another new start, a new location which in fact you'll feel familiar with, engaging, decently paced where Vlad will not be dragged on remaining as a 12, 14, 16, years old child with most time skips happening early and in a fitting storytelling way, and I am willing to say, improved.

The dynamics and relations between characters will be told in an improved manner, without unnecessary dialogue lines that would feel like dragging conversation just for extra lines. Actions and fights are no longer dragged as they were in the first version, and since things will be restructured, it will make the flow of the story easier to navigate, and I will leave out you guys to actually check it out at the point I will release the story, maybe one week or two weeks from today, I don't know for sure, sry.

Nevertheless, this means, I haven't dropped the project, it has been sent into restructuring, still alive in the shadowy corners of my Google docs, and it will return into a rejuvenated state.

As for this version of the story, I will keep it alive on the platforms. Maybe some people still want to read this version. Because of that, I will not take the liberty of certain individuals to have fun reading my content even though it makes me cringe when reading it again, trying to hide under some rock, or getting underneath my bed frame.
