Chapter Sixty Six_ Let's Hear From Them.

Christine's POV

The minute I stood up from my seat, I walked through a door that connects to the main house. I would rather not sit down there and watch Valerie distribute her mobile number to men. I might do something that I'll surely regret if I watch that, so I'm better off far away from her, so I won't witness that.

The thought of another man occupying my seat wreck my heart into a thousand pieces, but I can't do a thing about that. As much as I wanted to sit beside her all day, I just can't as she's damn serious and does what she says she will.

"How is my grandson doing?" Grandma asked when I walked into the living room, where she and her husband were seated.

"I'm doing great, grandma, you're a lot healthier now." I said while hugging her briefly.

It's really a miracle that my grandmother survived the sickness she was diagnosed with, faster than even the doctors predicted. Although she's still on medication, she's a strong woman.
