Chapter 299 Oliver is back

Alice stood in the office doorway for a moment. Then she took a blanket from the couch and wrapped it around Zayden.

Zayden opened his eyes immediately, and then looked at her with drowsy eyes and said, “Alice, it’s you.”

After that, he stood up, checked his watch, and said, “You have early today. Did you get enough sleep last night?”

Alice said with a nod, “Yes, I did. I ate too much last night, so I have been experiencing stomach pains.”

Hearing that, Zayden placed his hand on hers and said, “Your hands are freezing! I see, maybe it’s because your sweater is too thin.”

“Oh, don’t worry. The heat is on in the office.”

Zayden abruptly let go of Alice’s hand. Then he reached into his desk drawer for a hot water bag.

While handing it to Alice, he said, “It’s quite cold today, so take this. It will be hot in a minute.”

Alice looked at the hot water bag, dazed.
