Chapter Three: Mummy to Mommy

I feel like dying because of boredom. All the books that Maine bought, I already read them all and Maine won't let me help in chores. And even if I tried, Saphira's body is like a paper. Fragile and easily to get hurt. I felt like a mummy. Can't do anything, fragile body, and I look like a dead person.

*Siiiiiggggghhh*

I look outside the window and feel the fresh air. This house is own by Maine's parents secret friends and which I 'secretly bought'. I don't know if it's boredom but I feel like I'm being a bipolar these days. I'm also having headaches and sometimes the food is not to my liking even it taste delicious. It smells bad.

There's also times that every morning or If I smelled something bad, I puke. Maine is in high alert now and always worried about my health. I also want to go to the doctor but I can't, not yet. It's been two weeks now and I haven't receive his reply. Should I call him brother right now? Well, I only write:

Dear Brother Lindoln,

'Urgent Help. Getting sold.'

It's enough right?? I mean I sounds urgent right? And I put something in there that can made him move. Ugh!! This is getting crazy! If he's here then the Elders can't act like the head anymore of the Elionor House anymore and I don't need to be sold too! It's because of the validiyy of the contract. And one of the rule that the founding King and Emperor made. That's what I read from the books that Maine bought.

Well he's the first and last Emperor soo...It means that the next generation till the present has only become King. In order to become Emperor, he must unite all the nation. And maintain the peace.

On the other hand, Until now, There's only an empress, not Queen. It is to show that no matter what is your sex, everyone can attain rights to have authority and rule. Anywas lets foreget about that. My problem first.

If my brother is present, the Elders doesn't have the right to decide for Saphira. If only he's here but I think he's busy at the Academy. I hope Lindoln reads them.

Knock Knock Knock

I got surprise when Maine knock. I was just so focus that I ignore everything around me. "It's time for your lunch, Lady Phir." I nod and stand up from the chair, but as soon I got up, I lost my balance.

"Lady Phir!" Maine comes running towards me . I feel so dizzy all of a sudden. What's happening to this body? I massage my temple as Maine help me to stand.

"Please sit down" I let her help me. After I calm down, I look at Maine who's full of worry again.

"Please let my Mother come here to check you Lady Phir. I'm worried about your health." I hesitated a bit but I nod. Maine hug me quickly. I can see she's worried about me- ahh, about Saphira. I pat her head for comfort. I only gave her a hard time. I should thank her someday for all the help.

"I shall bring your food here." I smiled at her. "Let's eat together." She smiled and happily go.

I know they're all kind but I'm still worried. What if her mother will be followed? I sigh and rest my back.

Right now, I'm okay but what will happened to me If I got caught and drag to the palace? Will I suffer too like Saphira in the novel? But this problem isn't stated or even talk about in the novel. Is there changes? But I haven't done anything yet. I sigh again.

'I really need a solution.' I close my eyes, "Please reply...Lindoln."

At the Academy

Lindoln Pov

I only have a year left till I graduate from this Academy. It's been 4 yrs since I left the house and got cut all of the communications there. I can't go home even I wanted to because of the Elders there.

*Sigh*

Will Phir be allright there? Is she mad at me? I haven't receive any letters from her. Maybe the Elders done something about it.

I frown about my thoughts. After I'm done here, They all gonna pay. They will.

"Lindoln!" The door from my room suddenly open. "Lucas, knock before you open the door." He's my junior in this Academy. He smiled and show me an envelope.

"A letter for you!!" He shout and keep jumping happily. I stood up quickly and grab the letter. I turn it around and I didn't see any adress.

"Ohh. I didn't check it. Is it not for you? But the lady said that it's for you though" Lucas scratch his head with a confusw look in his face. A lady? for me? Is it a love letter? If it is...

"I'm gonna throw it away." I said and tried to tear the letter but

cling cling

a bell. "Oh I forgot to tell you that there's a mini bell inside of it! I keep pushing so it won't make a sound when I'm running." I stared at him. He run all the way here? Wait. Bells?

Bells means 'Urgent'. I quickly open the letter. It's from Saphira! My little sister-

Dear Brother Lindoln,

'Urgent Help. Getting sold'

Your Beautiful Sister,

-Saphira Elionor.

My eyeglasses almost broke after I read the letter. What? She's getting sold?!? Those BASTARDS!!

"Is your sister slave? Why she's getting sold?" Lucas look at me in the eye and we both shock.

"Fuck!" I yelled and grint my teeth. I quickly grab my things and pack. "How many days it takes for a letter to travel here?!" I'm trying to calm down while packing my important stuff. I need to go home. Fuck the Academy and the Elders, my sister is more important.

" 2 weeks" As soon as I heard my friend Ian who's standing at the door, I stop moving. "And if you take the carriage, it will take almost 4 weeks, Lindoln." He looked at me in the eye and I understood what he meant. I clenched my fist and look down. Almost 2 months. Is she gonna hold in there?

"Don't worry, Claude is waiting for you at the gate with the fastest horse." I nod and grab my suitcase and run as fast as I can.

'Please wait for me.'
