It's Time

It's time...." Lisa screamed in excitement.

"How do I look?"

"Girl, are you really going to ask me that. You look gorgeous. Beautiful. Fantastic. And I'm sure I did a great work on you." She said proudly winking an eye.

"Uhm..."

"Shush." She put her hand on her lips to stop her from talking. "Let's go now. I need to drop you at the venue."

She sighed and let out a faint smile and nodded in agreement.

When they stepped out of the building, they saw a black limousine car parked in front, and a man standing by it. He stared at her at first with the 'woah' kind of expression, but it quickly dissipated within a second. She couldn't blame him, she knew within herself that she was looking extremely beautiful.

Jane was putting on a red tiny strap hand dress, revealing her shoulders, collarbone, and her breast. Her brown hair was curled perfectly falling behind her back, and little strands of it bouncing in the front. Also a pair of red shoes and golden jewelries to match with. Her make-up was nude, with a red lipstick on her beautiful lips making anybody want to kiss her at just a glance.

"Good evening ma'am." Said the young man who stood by the car. He looked like he was in his late twenties. His brown hair were spike up perfectly, and his dark brown eyes unlike Jane's, smiled warmly at her.

Jane and Lisa stood there with bemused expression etched on their face. "I'm Kevin, and I'm guessing you're Ms Jane."

She nodded slightly still not understanding what was going on.

"I was sent here by Mr Francis to pick you up."

A small 'oh' formed on her lips.

"Wait, hold on." Lisa said in a creased brow. "Does that Francis know where I live?"

"Yes ma'am. He does."

"How?....I...Jane did you?" She turned asking Jane.

She shook her head. "So how does he know my location?" She asked Kevin.

"Ma'am, my apologies. I can't answer any further questions. I was only sent here to pick up Ms Jane.

Lisa chuckled. "Now who the heck is he really?" She asked herself. "Okay, fine." She faced Jane and held her hands softly. "All the best my little wormio."

Jane let out a sigh and smiled. "Thank you."

Lisa nodded slightly and Jane headed to the car Kevin had opened earlier for her. She stared at Lisa one more time before entering the car. Kevin shut the door and went straight ahead to the driver's seat. In few seconds, the car accelerated away.

The ride was quiet all through. None of them spoke. Kevin was busy steering away, while Jane's heart thudded widely in her chest. Her mind still running with a lot of thinking. Why attending the party is to be part of her test. She breathed in and out, trying her best not to think about it. Trying to stay confident and fearless. She convinced herself that he's different, he's not like those guys. She can do this, and believe in what Lisa had told her.

"We're here ma'am." Kevin said as he pulled in front of one of the biggest hotels in the city, certainly not the Wang's.

"Oh, okay." She said and Kevin got down from the car to open the door.

"Thank you." She said as she got down from the car. Kevin bowed slightly and headed back to the car.

She majestically walked in the hotel and entered the elevator as the party was at the 45th floor which was the last floor. Stepping out of the elevator, a well decorated hall came in view. The hall was dark, but the chandelier provided little sparks of light for the room making it look like stars. The people in the hall wore expensive clothes and jewelries. Just a glance of the things they wore, you could tell it's made of real diamonds and golds. The hall was decorated nicely, looking classic. Everyone in the room were masked-no face was seen open. A young lady approached her and handed her a black mask. A mask covering only her eyes.

"Thank you." She said and the lady left.

Her heart was thudding loud within her. Her body trembling in fear and nervousness. She walked deeper in the room in search of him. Though everyone in the room were all masked, she could recognize him by his body features. His height, his broad shoulders and his onyx dark hair. But seeing that he was no where to be seen made her more nervous and afraid.

"Where is he?" She asked herself nervously. Each seconds that passed by, her fear seem to increase more. 'Be calm, be strong. You can do this.' She told herself inwardly.

"Hey baby girl." Said a voice deep and husky in her left ear. His hands holding on to her tiny waist. The voice made her stop thinking and her heart thudded wild in her chest. "I see you came." He continued. Still not turning around to see who it was, she knew it was him.

"Come." He said holding her hands and pulling her away.
