Heavenly-Hell

She woke up crying profusely. Her knees were bent to her chest and her arm hugging around her legs. Her body leaned against the bed board as her head was bent down touching her knees.

"Oh God. No.....not again." She said breaking down completely, shaking her head.

She didn't understand why those dreams kept appearing to her after the incident. She felt guilty about what happened, but sometimes she felt like the world's misfortune was because of her - because of the mysterious dreams.

Back then, she attempted to kill herself, not because of the incident, but because of these nightmares, especially the mysterious one. They had to come like a gang ready to beat her up black and blue after the incident. It dealt with her mental state a lot.

Trying her best to understand everything or putting the unsolved puzzles together, she sometimes end up falling sick with either headaches or down fever. She just could not grab a hint from it.

"I'm so tired. I'm so tired of everything." She kept crying her eyes out in that position.

About half an hour passed before she pulled herself together. She wiped off her tears and got down from the bed. Unbeknownst to her, she didn't realize it was the break of dawn, till she looked out from the glass wall hidden behind the open curtains. The sun has risen up slightly and the birds were singing. She sighed and let out a faint smile.

"Okay." She spoke to herself in a whisper.

She inhaled for a few seconds and exhaled out feeling relief. She undressed and walked straight to the bathroom and took a short hot shower. She quickly changed to the clothes Francis gave to her last night. After some minutes, she stepped out of the room and out of the hotel building. She saw Kevin waiting outside the hotel building beside that parked car.

"Good morning ma'am." He greeted as she approached him.

"Good morning Kevin. He sent you?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Okay."

He opened the car door for her and she entered. He started the car engine afterwards and the car drove off.

"Where should I drop you off ma'am. To Lisa's or to your parent's." He spoke after a while.

Jane was silent. She had no idea. But she made a decision last night to continue with the deal. It wasn't going to end just like that for her after she has gotten this far with him. She would prove to him that she wasn't scared, but brave to push through with this.

"Take me to Francis'."

"Okay ma'am." He nodded slightly.

The car remained silent all through the drive. It was hours of driving when the car passed through a big black gate. The outside was decorated with different types of flowers and a big beautiful golden fountain fall in the middle. The outside was so spacious and beautiful. The big mansion was painted in white.

The car parked and Kevin got down and opened the door for her. She stepped out and could not believe her eyes. It felt like she was in a fairytale land, or no, heaven. The floral scent coming from the flowers filled the atmosphere making it smell like heaven - if only heaven smells like that. It was quiet and very bright.

"Wow." She said in a whisper not blinking an eye from the beautiful surrounding in front of her.

"This way ma'am." He said pointing to the direction of the door.

They headed in and Kevin opened the door leading to the grand parlour. Jane's face suddenly turned into that of confusion as she entered. Her gaze darted back and forth from the open door revealing the beautiful outside, to the inside. 'I thought I was in heaven when I saw the outside, but now.....it feels like hell.' She thought to herself.

The inside was decorated in all black and red from the furnitures, the wall paintings, the grand stairs and the curtains. All of it were either black or red. When she got down from the car, she felt like she stepped into heaven, but the inside gave out a different vibe. It felt like hell, heavenly - hell. It was heavenly - hell because it had the atmosphere of that of heaven- quiet, peaceful and a nice scent, but hell because of the interior decor. There was no sign of white or any other colour.

"Please have a seat." He said pointing to the fancy red couch.

She sat down and he excused himself. After a while, an older man came in. He was quite short and chubby which was okay for his age.

"Good day ma'am." He said bowing at her.

She was drawn back to reality, but because of the shock written all over her face, a word could not form out from her mouth.

"I'm Bohai. Short form Bo. the butler." He continued before she could say a word.
