Don't Get Off

Despite seeing the deadly look on his face, she simply ignored him by walking pass him. There was no way he was going alone leaving her at the mansion. For heaven knows she won't be at peace.

He grabbed her arm tight preventing her from taking more steps.

"Don't say I didn't warn you to stay behind. Whatever it is you see in the nearest future, I don't want you to file up pyramids of questions for me. Do you understand?" He said in a cold deep tone.

Her heartbeat fastened the more as she saw the deadly and warning look in his voice. She wondered what had happened or what was going to happen soon. She knew it was pointless asking him further questions as he won't give her a reply.

"Yes." Was all she could say.

She was a bit frightened as her mind wavered what he just said to her. Without a word he left her hand and walked to the car and she ran up to catch up with him.

The car's speed was so high that it could blow off any weightless person like her to the ground. She was thankful it was midnight. The man beside her literally look like he could knock off anyone he sees in the middle of the road that tries to slow him down.

'What was happening that he had to drive in a fast speed? and his look....His look was dangerously a warning one to me'. She thought. The aura coming out from him was so hot that it could turn a fly to ashes.

In no time, he pulled the car in the middle of nowhere. The snow on the ground was so thick and the trees were all covered in thick ice. There was no sign of buildings or any living creatures around. The moon wasn't shining bright to give it some light outside, so it was really dark. The icy forests was eerie and the absolute silence of the place made her drip in sweats and her heartbeat pounding fast in her chest.

She looked outside from the car's window and the dark snowy forests made her swallow and her head turned to the man beside her.

"Why....why are we here?" She asked in a shaky scary voice.

He removed his seat belt and looked at her with her a hot deadly gaze.

"No matter what happens, don't open the door."

Her body was now trembling in fear. "Wh.... what's...."

"Do not open the door till you see me. Is that clear."

"But...."

"Is...that...clear?"

The look in his eyes was so warning, so she nodded at him.

"Lock the door and don't open it for anyone or anything."

She swallowed "Y..yes."

He got out of the car and she immediately locked the door. The outside was really cold but she could barely feel it's coldness from the fear rushing through her body.

She saw him walking to the dark forest. 'Oh God, what is he going to do there?' She thought scary. Her mind was telling her to get off the car, but she had to listen to him especially giving her such dangerous looks. She saw him halt his steps at the entrance of the icy forest.

"Don't go. Please...." She said tapping on the window lightly.

And in the blink of an eye, he was gone. She was running out of breath due to the sudden increase of her heartbeat and her body was covered in sweats.

The whole place was eerie silent. She had waited patiently for him for about three minutes and she could no longer have that patience anymore. Her body really wanted to get out of the car in search of him but she had become confused. Despite his warning, she felt like she had to go and save him. She wondered what was taking him so long.

Another minutes of silence passed by and something made her jump from her seat in shock and in fear. She had heard someone been thrown away to the back of the car. She looked at the back window, where the sound came from but she saw no one or nothing there.

"I shouldn't get off the car if I don't see him. I shouldn't get off the car if I don't see him. I shouldn't get off the car if I don't see him." She recited those words to remind herself constantly of what he said as her body was itching badly to go out and see what had happened. Who was thrown away to the car.

She was sure she heard someone been thrown away to the back of the car. She stopped reciting those words and her eyes widened open as a scary thought played in her head.

"W...what if it was him?"
