Call

"Good morning dad." She greeted kissing her dad who was in the kitchen making his morning tea.

"Good morning cupcake. How was your night?"

"Good and yours?"

"Good too."

"Where's grandma?" She asked because she didn't see her in the kitchen.

"Right here." She said entering the kitchen.

"Good morning granny." She greeted kissing both her cheeks.

"Did you get a good night rest?" She asked examining her face.

"Hmm. Yes I did."

"You're sure you did?" She said now holding her chin up.

"Yes...Why?" Asking a bit confused by how her grandma spoke and stared at her.

"Then can you explain the dark circles under your eyes?"

She blinked looking utterly confused. She has taken her bath this morning, she had looked at the mirror but didn't see anything. She did saw it but just completely ignored it. The dark circles had appeared because of her restless night the previous night. It had gotten really late before she shut her eyes to sleep.

"Well..."

"What were you doing all through the night for you to have dark circles under your eyes. What was keeping you up? Jeez, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, you look completely awful." She shook her head as if disappointed at her.

"Mom, just let her be." Mr Ken piped in. "I'm sure it's because of the things that had happened lately. Just let her take a break for now."

"I...I guess dad is right." She lied.

Her grandma stared at her for sometime with a brow raised as if trying to confirm if what she said was the truth.

"Okay." She said and let go of her chin. "Have you spoken to Lisa today?" She asked walking to the direction of the stove.

"No, not yet." She paused and continued. "Uhm grandma, dad, I'd like to take permission from the both of you if I can get to spend some days with Lisa."

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk,." Mrs Hien shook her head and faced her. "Do you need to ask for my permission. Your face actually bores me up to death." She teased but sounding serious. "I'm so sick of seeing your face here everyday. So you can go, I don't care. Just make sure you don't come back early."

"Hahahaha. So I actually bore you up now. Really granny."

"Mhmmm. Not just you, but the clothes you put on that will actually blind my sexy eyes one day. I don't want that to happen to me. Get it."

Mr Ken and Jane laughed hard.

"Hahaha, grandma." She said hugging her from behind. "It's not that bad. I like it like this, how I dress. So don't worry it won't blind your sexy eyes."

"Get off me." She said hitting her head. "I don't want you to take my little sexiness left in me."

"Hahaha, I'm going to take it all. I'll take it all. I'll take everything." She said hugging her tight.

"Hahaha, silly girl."

"Hahaha. You taught me how to."

Her father just sat there drinking his tea watching the both of them do their female things.

"Hahaha. Okay now. It's time to make breakfast."

"Yes." She said freeing her grandma from the hug.

Jane headed to her room after breakfast and doing the dishes. She picked up her phone to call Lisa.

"Hey bunny." Jane said after Lisa picked the call.

"Hello my darling little wormio."

"How're you feeling today?"

"Better than ever. And you?"

"Uhm. Good I guess."

"You guess? Why? What happened?" She asked sounding a bit worried.

"Hahaha. Calm down Lisa. You worry too much, I'm fine. There's nothing to worry about really. I'm just planning to come by your place and spend some days with you if it's alright with you."

"Wow. Really?" She asked excitedly biting her lower lip. "Awwwn, I've missed those times together."

"Hahaha. Me too."

"Oh my goodness, I can't wait. So when are you coming by?"

"I'll be there in a few minutes."

"Okay, can't wait my little wormio."

"Stupid you, hahaha. Okay bye now."

"Bye my little wormio..."

After Jane hung the call, she quickly arranged her bag and took few things to carry along with and descended down the stairs.

"Bye dad, bye granny."

"Bye. Make sure you don't come back here too soon okay." Her grandma said.

"I will." She teased and opened the door.
