The Search begins

(This will most likely be my second to last chapter for his year. I plan on writing maybe one or two more for 2022 but closer to Christmas I will become inactive for a week or so. Please enjoy my last few chapters for this year. Have a merry Christmas and I hope 2023 will treat you all better; anyway, to the story;)

Scarlett, Ash, and James all waited outside the castle entrance for Matias. Matias had gone to fill William in on what was happening. 

"How long is he going to take?" Ash asked getting impatient.

"I have no idea. He said he would be as quick as possible." Scarlett replied.

"I just hope no one sees Scarlett. Do you think they would know what is happening?" James asked

"Most likely. Most people around here know about mythical beings because of my father. Whether they choose to believe it or not is up to them. Most people do." Scarlett answered.

"I wonder who the first vampire was. Sorry, thinking out loud." James said.
