Chapter 38
"Alpha I saw something unusual here, so I was just going to check it but nothing to worry about it now" she quickly adds and before she can move I grab her wrist.
"What. Is. It? " I ask punctuating every word and I see her flinching again.
"There aren’t any guards in the dungeon. I was going to quickly call the warriors before you get to know about it. But I think it’s too late for it now" she mumbles and I grit my teeth at her response.
Had the rumors been true? What if? No! We did the checking and there was no criminal. So I don't think the rumors hold any truth in it.
I leave her hand and she quickly brings it in front of her and rubs her hand.
"You can go" I say and she runs off away from me faster than I could have imagined.
