CHAPTER 8 Surveillance
Jacob's POV
"It turns out to be just a cat."
After confirming that there was no one on the balcony, I followed Allen to the containment facility to inspect the dead captives. The three victims had been placed in the yard of the containment facility.
I approached and examined them closely. They all had foam at the corners of their mouths, which looked like a sign of poisoning.
"Has Howson arrived?" I looked at Allen.
He looked at his watch. "I've notified Doctor Howson, and he should be here soon."
As soon as he finished speaking, Howson arrived with his assistant Ace.
"Alpha." Howson and Ace saluted me before walking up to the dead captives.
"Howson, I suspect they were poisoned."
Upon hearing my words, Howson put on a germ mask and gave me and Allen each a germ mask. "For safety reasons, please wear a mask."
