CHAPTER 26 Why Didn't You Transform?
Margaret's POV
I deftly dodged Karl's attack with a roll and turned to look at Ace. Although he had also successfully dodged, his lower leg was scratched by claws, and blood sprayed onto the ground. The onlookers screamed and scattered. I quickly helped Ace and ran towards the door.
"Don't let them escape!" With Karl's words, two werewolves rushed out of the crowd, and three werewolves surrounded me and Ace.
"We only have trouble with Ace. If you leave now, I won't make things difficult for you."
Karl looked at me with a hint of caution in his eyes. He tried to persuade me to withdraw from the fight.
"Impossible! As the hospital administrator, I have a responsibility to protect the safety of medical personnel."
"Thank you, Sarah. Rita has already notified the patrol team. We just need to hold on for a few more minutes." Ace's face was pale, and his tone was full of pain.
