Chapter 25

Henko locked the doors and said his goodbyes to the girls. He was really surprised that Ivan's men have not been coming to the bar as of late. He was given an address to send the money to if they didn't show up, which was convenient for him. He didn't have to see that man. Henko took in a deep breath and slowly let it out. He wanted to get over that man and fast.

"So, you're finally off." Henko turned to the voice that spoke out. His eyes went wide and then back to normal. "Were you expecting someone else?" The man asked. Henko thought it was Ivan, but why?

"No, I was just not expecting you to actually be here."

"Why do you think that I asked when you got off?" The man questioned. Henko stayed quiet. The man just chuckled. He walked over to Henko. Henko looked up and the man. He saw the man grab his hands in his own and bring them up to his chest. "Was it bad that I came?" Henko stared at the man for a minute before shaking his head.

"It's actually a good thing." Henko spoke out.

"Hmm, why?" The man questioned. Henko looked down at the ground. Henko was unsure if he should say that he was trying to get over the man he fell in love with. That was something he shouldn't say. Henko smiled at him.

"I was thinking that I really didn't want to be alone tonight." The man laughed lightly.

"Are you inviting me over?" He asked. Henko nodded. "Okay, would you like to go to my place or yours?" The man asked.

"Mine." Henko spoke out. "It's close." The man let go of Henko's hands.

"Okay. Then follow me. I have my car parked over here." He pointed behind him with his thumb. Henko nodded again. While walking with the man he asked,

"Would it be okay if we stop by the convenience store? I want to pick up some food and drinks." The man nodded and said,

"Yeah, that would be fine." Henko walked side by side with the man until they reached the car. They both got in and headed towards their destinations.

The man walked behind Henko as they entered Henko's apartment. The man was awed by how big the place was. He helped Henko put away the food and took some of the beer off out of the box and put the rest in the fridge.

"Thank you, Dante." Henko gave thanks to the man. He never knew what the man's name was until they were in the car. Henko had asked the man what his name was and he actually gave it to him. He had repeated the name over and over in head, as if he was going to forget what it was. He was happy that Dante had showed up after his work was over. It might not be right for Henko to use the man as way to get over his broken heart, but he was going to do that anyway. If the man didn't come, he may have gone out to find some random man. It had been a long time since he picked up someone from the bar or bathhouse. Dante being here refrained him from going out. Henko took a beer for himself and one for the man standing next to him. They both walked over to the couch and sat down. Henko started to gulp down his beer.

"Whoa whoa. What's up with the downing of the alcohol?" Henko stopped and turned to Dante. His hands were holding the beer by his bent knees.

"I was just thirsty." He smiled. Dante set down his beer that he only took a few sips of himself, on a coaster that was on the table. He reached over to Henko face and pulled it forward a bit. Dante leaned in and watched as Henko closed his eyes. He lightly kissed Henko on the lips. There was a hint flavor of strawberry from Henko's lip gloss. Dante brought them in for another soft kiss, and another. Soon it got into a deeper kiss and he licked Henko's lips and Henko allowed access. They both could taste the cheap beer that they were just drinking on each other's tongue. Dante moved closer and started touching Henko's arm and moved to the front of his chest. Henko broke the kiss.

"Wait." Henko spoke softly.

"What is it?" Dante asked.

"I…I don't like to do this when I'm dressed like this."

"There is nothing wrong with how you are dressed." Dante replied. He tried to pull Henko in for another kiss when Henko backed up.

"Let me take this off first and then we can continue." Dante sighed and sat back on the couch. Henko could tell that the man was irritated, but he doesn't like to be dressed like this when he was in bed with a man. It would make him feel as if they were looking at him as a woman. He never did like that. He wanted to be look at for who he really was. Henko stood up. "I'll be back."

"Kay, I'll wait for you." Dante spoke out as he waived at Henko. Walking to his bedroom, Henko heard the sound of the TV being turned on.
