50. Refuge at an old couple's home

The way to the strange men's destination was bumpy and Aanaye was not used to of such rides. Infact this was her first ride ever, and obviously with a man. A man who was an international super star. But Aanye didn't care of who was riding it. She only cared about her family at Oakland.

Aanaye was quietly sitting behind Adal. There were much bumps and slopes. Annaye holded Adal tight unwillingly. This was really an awkward moment of her life. In her life she never hugged the back of any man but she was right now.

Aanaye's hand on Adal's chest and her head on his back were felt by him differently.

"Why my cold heart start beating faster?" Adal thought.

Are you fine? asked Adal from Aanaye.

Aanaye just nodded her head in yes on Adal's back, that was clearly felt by Adal.

After a ride of atleast one hour, they reached a deserted double storeyed home. Adal also parked the scooter aside where the strange men parked their one.

"It started snowfall", one of two strangers replied.

Aanaye just holded Adal back strongly with closed eyes.

"Darling, you can leave me now. We have arrived at our timely destination." Adal asked Annaye, who was not ready yet to move out to stranger's place.

Aanaye got down of the ride with Adal's help. Adal got down too.

The one of the stranger knocked at the door.

Sir, come under the shelter. The snow fall has started. They both moved under the house shelter.

An old man's voice came from the other side.

"Who is it?"

"It is me, Uncle Durian", the stranger replied.

"Oh Gami, the door opened, Gami you are here with woods? "

"No, uncle not yet. But I am here with a newly wed couple, who got stuck because of an avalanche. For two days they have been residing inside the cave, where we use to camp after wood cutting. I found them and brought them herr. They needed help. Gami told Uncle Durian the story in two simple lines while moving inside the house.

"Okay, Okay. Welcome, welcome son." Uncle Durian moved his hand to shake hand with Adal. Adal with a smile gave him a hand shake.

Who is there Mr Durian? Well Mrs Durian, a newly wed couple is our guest here today.

" Aah a pretty daughter is here at our place, Mrs Durian welcomed the couple warmly. Come dear, Have a seat near fire. Remove your jackets.

Adal and Aanaye moved near the fire. Their jacket and coats were taken by Gami to hung aside.

Aanaye was not comfortable with stranger people at stranger place in another country, all alone.

She kept holding Adal's arm and walked behind him.

They both were welcomed near fire.

"Sit dear children, let me make you some hot tea."

Mrs Durian went after making her guests comfortable near fire place.

The house was not that much big but it was beautifully decorated inside. Aanaye moved her eyes around to notice anything strange at stranger place. But the house was calm and hot. It had one open kitchen and one roofed living room from which two bedrooms down and two rooms upstairs were clearly been seen.

Mr Durain and Mrs Durian were an old couple within their late sixties. Both were still looking ten years younger then their age. This was because Uncle Durian served in Kashan city Army and Mrs Durian was health conscious lady. Both lived alone here after Uncle Durian's retirement from his services from army. Uncle built a lovely, little home near the mountains.

Mr Gami and Sami were two orphan brothers who were far off nephews of uncle Durian. Uncle Durian cared for both of them As the old couple lived alone so Gami and Sami after every one day during a week visit to keep check on them and see if they need anything.

They both work for the government for cutting off the woods. But now these days they were on leave due to snowfall and avalanche. After a day or two they were to report back at their job.

Sir, we are wood cutters and uncle grew us up when we were orphan and small. They are lovely couple just like yours. Sami told Adal and Aanaye while sitting near fire.

Adal just laughed and lookes at Aanaye to see her annoying facial expression on last word of Sami.

Gami helped Mr Durian in bringing the tea for the guest.

"Here dear daughter, have hot tea. You are cold and pale, said the lady."

"Adal os also cold and pale, abruptly Aanaye told about Adal's situation."

"Oh yes, dear ... you are a really caring wife." Said Mrs Durian.

Have tea. Let me lit fire in the room for you. You both can change the cold clothes.

"What Adal might be thinking of my abrupt reply." Aanaye thought.

Adal looked at the girl's weird behaviour, who is annoyed of him sometimes and on other times she cares him like a baby.

"Uncle we will bring ypur woods tomorrow hopefully. Because we found there our needy guest so could load the woods on our scooters. Said Gami."

"Sir the ways near are totally blocked and jammed. There were severe avalanche and heavy snowfall. The land sliding is on peak. So you have to settle down here until the weather gets fine. Then we will find a way for you to the city. Said Gami."

"As you had your wife with you, that is why we brought you here. Our house is at a distance of an hour." Said Sami.

"Okay, no issue." Said Adal.

Mrs Durian got a room ready upstairs for the couple.

After the tea she took Adal and Aanaye to the room upstairs.

Here dear, feel it your home. These are mine and your uncles few clothes of youth that I have kept saved, might be for this day to offer them to a lovely couple.

You both can get fresh and change untill then I can make your breakfast ready.

Adal and Aanaye got into the room, whose door was shut by Mrs Durian for couple's privacy.
