Chapter 10- Caught the Mate's waist

Knocking on the door, with nervousness written all over his face, Zen sighed when he heard the door's lock unlocking.

"How much time does making two pizzas take?" came the voice of his mate who was taking out money from his wallet unaware of the person standing ahead.

Looking up, while extending his hand, his eyes widened at the laughing face of his mate.

"About 30 minutes and if we include delivery then it's around 45 minutes. Did that answer your question?" teased Zen, all his nervousness vanishing with the way he was welcomed.

The door slammed closed when Zen finished his reply and was soon opened by a flustered-up Riki.

"I am so sorry, I did not look ahead, Mr.Zen... gosh.." he muttered after apologizing to a still smiling Zen.

"Hey, no worries. No one likes to wait for pizza. Seems like you have not had your dinner still. "

"Yea, after returning, we had to place some necessities and all out of the bags so lost the track of time. But, why are you here right now..? Is blue okay?" replied a still red Riki.

"Yes, She is. I just wanted to talk to you...? we can do that tomorrow too, I am sorry for coming here this late..." hesitated Zen, even though his wolf was restless, he understood his human.

"No, no it's okay, we can talk right now. The pizza will take its precious time to enter anyways. Let's go downstairs..?" smiled Riki.

"Is it okay? you can have your dinner first, we can talk later..."

Zen instantly shut his mouth when he saw his omega nodding his head and moving outside the house after informing his sister about taking a walk downstairs.

Following his mate's steps, mesmerized by the way the water droplets fall down his hair when he ruffles hair, Zen's steps slowed down. Looking back when he saw that his mate had stopped walking, Riki smiled at him which took him out of his trance. Running back to his alpha mate, Riki held his hand and started running towards the garden while pulling him.

"Hey, mate...." the omega waved his hand in front of his Alpha while giggling.

"...H..Hi.." stuttered the alpha while waving a bit, being mesmerized by the smile on his mate's face. he smiled too after a bit, reciprocating the happiness through it.

"Watch out!!" shouted a dog walker, when a golden retriever ran to where they were standing catching a ball, making the pair of mates stumble a bit, leading the alpha to instantly secure his mate by catching him from his waist. He sighed when he caught his mate.

"Oh my gosh... are you okay? You aren't hurt right?" the questions flooded the omega, while he was catching his breath.

"Calm down love, I am alright yeah? My Mate caught me from falling you see..." commented the omega, being smug about his mate's action.

Still in a hug, they saw how the golden retriever came to them, with his ears down, supposedly being sorry when his walker scolded him.

"It's okay little buddy, yeah? No one's hurt okay?" Riki said caressing the dog's head.

"I am so sorry, he's just too hyper." apologized the walker

"It's okay, what's his name?" questioned Zen.

"It's Bruno.."

"Bruno baby!!" shrieked Riki when Bruno licked his face.

Chuckling a bit at the dog's tactics on his mate, Zen took a picture of them quietly and then took Bruno away from his mate.

"That's too much now Bruno" Zen offered his mate his hand to get up from the ground, where Bruno pulled him.

"you alright?" questioned the alpha whisperingly, watching his mate dusting his clothes a bit.

"Yes, He's too cute, but I will have to Bath again now... ugh.." complained Riki, which brought a smile to his face.

The walker again apologized and left them there.

Going towards the swings, the omega sat down and patted the other one for his Alpha to sit at, which he gladly did.

"I have waited for this moment for so long..." said Zen, smiling watching, how his mate had turned shy at his gaze.

"me too, but I am glad that even though it took time, It was worth the wait..." smiled Riki at his mate, Extending his hand towards his mate, who kept his warm hands on his cold ones...

"If you don't mind, can I let my Alpha out... He's been restless since you entered my Apartment" hesitated Zen.

"Don't hesitate, you can..." approved the omega, even though he was sad at first at how his mate had his hands wrapped around another Omega, but after knowing, that they were family, He was glad and his distress went away.

Closing his eyes, Zen relaxed a bit and then opened his eyes again. They were golden with red now.

A growl erupted from the alpha's mouth. "MINE", which made the Omega wolf take control of his human. Riki, now Yukari hissed at the growl and glared at his possessive mate.

"Yes, you. are. Mine" he revolted, not wanting his alpha to be in control of himself.

Yukari held his mate's chin. Looking into his eyes, he saw the desire and affection held for him.

The Alpha whimpered at his mate's stern gaze, now knowing that his Omega doesn't like anybody overpowering him. He Apologized, making the stern gaze turn into one of a soft, admirable one.

"Don't ever do that, Alpha."

"I again apologize, my love..."

Both the wolfs talked some more and then gave the control back to their humans.

"Riki, I again apologize for Shizu's Behaviour," said Zen with his head falling downwards.

"It's Okay, Love. You have met Yukari too right? She will take care of her Alpha- She and I have handled far worse Alphas and Beta. Shizu is a cute pup, you know." hummed Zen a bit shocked at his mate's reaction to his Big, Bad Alpha side.

If not for Shizu though, he could never survive before meeting his parents while taking care of Blue. Shizu had been the pillar, keeping the siblings safe, and it also brought out Zen's calm personality.

"Let's go now, It's late and your dinner's still left yeah?" asked Zen, still a bit reluctant.

"Yes let's go, Zen- your jacket" offered Riki, his mate's jacket back to him...

"you can keep it." muttered zen bashfully. oh, how he loved when his mate took his name.

"oh.. okay..." blushed Riki at his mate's cuteness.

"That's how I ended up in this side of the country..." Said Symon, Finishing his explanation of how he knows Thea Suzuki.

"Bub, Why are you avoiding your mate? I don't think she knew what they did to you.." reasoned Ms. Zara

"Yes Monie, you should have let her explain." agreed Mr.Takashi

"I know that... but I don't know what took over me then, but It still hurts. She brings back bad memories, good ones being too few. I don't know If I will be able to forgive her..." sighed Symon.

"Symon, It's your choice but remember this baby- Us wolfs, are given the perfect ones made for us. And no species is lucky enough to have this blessing.. okay?" Said his Mom, knowing that Symon still has not unveiled some of his past to them.
