Centuries ago a time were history had not even been recorded. There lived warriors of god, chosen and gifted with supernatural abilities to defend mankind and the earth.

This was a time a peace and prosperity were the ''God of slayers'', The kamui lived and protected all. But not all was peaceful, for not far from the paradise of man lived horrible evil creatures that could not be explained. Monsters who's only desires were to eat and destroy, demonic beings known as THE VIRUS a scourge on the earth that roamed the land. Their origins unknown till this day. They went around killing, eating, corrupting and destroying everything good in sight.

These monsters were being held at bay in the forsaken lands until their king, Azalos had arrived. This being was the most powerful virus mankind had ever encountered. He destroyed nations, desecrated cities and divided continents. Mankind's time on earth looked as though it was about to an end when HIRUDOSHI, The God Slayers, the kamui came down on a dragon to vanquish Azalos. Their battle was fierce, it tore apart the clouds, turned the sky blood red and made the earth shake.

The battle had gone on for days with no end in sight, but then in an attempt to destroy Hirudoshi, Azalos released a powerful blast that destroyed Santon city (HOME OF HIRUDOSHI). Hirudoshi survived and although all seemed lost for him, he decided to sacrifice himself to win the battle against Azalos. He used the last of his power after a long and hard battle to attack Azalos, and in a bright flash of light, Azalos along with Hirudoshi vanished off the face of the Earth.

As the bright flash of light diminished, a giant emerald emerged out of the ground, it is believed to be a gift from Hirudoshi, a symbol of hope for generations to come. That emerald became a monument in what was once Hirudoshi's home town, now known as EMERALD CITY.

It is told, that before Hirudoshi encountered the virus scourge, he left a message, a last wish to his people: That all slayers lead a world of peace, and this is a story of the people who will do that. Yamato: (yelling) Dad! Dad! Dad!

Yoshi(Yamatos' father):What is it kiddo? You're pretty loud this early in the morning, don't you think?

Mira(Yamatos' mother): Yeah Yamato(cleans her tired eyes) what's got you up so early?

Yamato: Mum, Dad don't tell me you forgot its my birthday. Today is finally the day, which means…(smiles with excitement)

Yoshi & Mira: (at the same time) which means what?

Yamato: which means you guys are finally going to take me to my first and actual slayer grade school. just like you promised, remember?

Yoshi: Oh yeah, its time. You finally reached the age, I mean look at you(rubs his head)

Mira: (smiling at Yamato) Your father's right Yamato, you're growing up so fast and already entering your first slayer grade school.

Yamato: yeah! and ill finally get my powers(jumps on the bed with joy )I really can't wait, (rubbing his chin) hmm… i wonder what kind of power I'll get.

Yoshi:(smirks)well, you are my son so I'm sure you will have fire powers, and if you're really like your old man here you might inherit my plant and wood techniques.

Mira: (puts her hands on her waist) Now wait just a minute ,since you're my son you will probably inherit my water abilities. Instead of inheriting your fathers barbaric techniques (laughs quietly as she looks towards his direction).

Yoshi:(yelling with a duck lip)Hey! what's that supposed to mean. If memory serves me right, it was my technique that wooed you when we met. In fact i remember, you couldn't stop begging me to show you my technique when we went out on our first date.

Mira: (shrugging her shoulders) Well its not as impressive as it use to be. The move is washed up

Yamato: Mum, Dad (smile) i would love to have both your abilities, i love them both just like i love you!

Mira & Yoshi: Aww! Yamato! (hug him with tears in their eyes) i wonder what good we did to deserve a child like you (hug him tightly)

Yoshi: Well, i don't believe we did enough (touches Yamatos' shoulder and looks him in the eyes) you are a gift so you are meant for good and will do great things. Don't you ever forget that

Yamato: Ok dad i won't.

Yoshi:(looks away,whispering)I wish we had more time. (yells with excitement) Anyway! lets get you set for school

Mira: Yeah! come on Yamato, I'll get you ready

After the preparations for school. later that day

Yamato: (carries his school bag)Bye mum!, ill see you later (smiles excitedly)

Yoshi: (to Mira) I'll be back from the gathering to help with Yamatos party

Mira: (smiles) Ok dear, try not to take too long. I know how they like to keep you guys, and Yamato…(runs towards him with a necklace in her hands having a green emerald shard at its center) take this with you Yamato

Yamato: (surprised and curious)What is it mum?

Mira:(places it around his neck)Well, you see its a family heirloom, something that was handed down from my great grand mother down to me. It is said to be a gem of protection that as long as you wear it no harm will come to you or the people you love , it is given to the first daughters of the house(scoffs) now your no girl but your my first and only son so i want you to wear it. (Sighs) As a sign that i will always be with you even when you can't see me

Yamato: But mum something this important...you....you shouldn't give it to me (about to take it off) i can't take something like this from you

Mira: (holds his hands )Yamato… i want you to have it, think of it as your birthday present, and as a bonus my mother use to tell me whenever you were in need of guidance the voice of the one you love will guide you. So you see Yamato (raises his chin up and looks at him) you will always have me with you, so please son, take it

Yamato: (sighs and let's go of the necklace) all right mum (smiles) I'll take it and i swear, ill keep it safe

Mira: (smiles warmly) I know you will my son. Now, go on, i think your father's loosing his patience

Yamato: Alright(runs to his father then runs back to his mum and hugs her warmly)I love you mum

Mira: (hugs him tightly)I love you too son

Yoshi: Come on guys if you're going to take so long loving at least save some for me

Mira: No don't you worry we're all done here

Yamato: Alright mum ill see you later

Mira: See you later

Yoshi: Alright then are you ready for your first day of school?

Yamato: (in an energetic and excited tone) yeah!

Yoshi: Good(stands upright)WOOD AND PLANT CREATION:BLOOM OF THE ROYAL CHARIOT. (Smirks at Yamato) Today the birthday boy rides in style

Yamato: (smiles)

Yoshi: Alright next stop Bright Beginners Grade School

ON THEIR WAY TO SCHOOL

Yoshi: (looks at Yamato) You know Yamato, that gem your mother gave you is really special. I've actually seen it in effect before, not only that, but it's a very good gift so i hope you like it

Yamato: (holding the emerald pendant) Yeah! i like it a lot

Yoshi: (smiles with his eyes closed, faces forward) but i won't let your mum show me up yet, I'm gonna give you a present just as awesome when you get back from school in fact no even better (laughs maniacly)

Yamato: (curious) What is it gonna be dad?

Yoshi: Now that is a surprise and I'm not telling

Yamato: I guess that's fair(grumbles)in its own crudy way

Yoshi: (sighs) Yamato…

Yamato: (looks at him) Yes dad?What is it?

Yoshi: I'm sorry i have to bring this up on your birthday but i don't think there will be a better day to talk about this

Yamato: (faces forward) It's about the thing…isn't it?

Yoshi: (shrugs his shoulders) …Look Yamato, its no secret that you don't have your powers, even tho children are suppose to have their awakening from the ages 1-5,and this is your fifth birthday which means this is your last chance to get your powers. Now it's not your fault and no one blames you or anything but if you don't get your powers now… you could always learn order and join a calling. That doesn't sound to bad, right sport?

Yamato: Dad…Why do you think I'm unable to develop my powers,or maybe i should ask why i might not get my powers?

Yoshi: (sighs) I don't know really. But your mum has a theory, she thinks its because of your white hair. Now I'm not one for superstition and I've never believed in them nor in prophecy because of many false prophets but maybe it is maybe she's right

Yamato: (thinking) I had almost forgotten about that silly superstition,something that he and mum told me about not too long ago. About 200 years ago, children with white or gray hair had not been born into the world before. The reason for so is still unknown, but people who wanted or admired the hair would have to dye it white or wait till they grew old.

At some point tho, within that era the first child of snow white hair was born, his name dared not be mentioned so it was lost to time, that and the family he came from. The people of that small village had never had such a thing happen before, so after the boys' birth they threw a party and celebrated his birth believing him to be a blessing from GOD meant to bring them fortune, not too long after the boys birth tho he began to show that he was the opposite and was involved in all sorts of problems, the people of the forgotten at the time just rubbed it off…after all "CHILDREN WILL BE CHILDREN", right? Not too long after that, the boy was found to have killed his parents and after that the boy was to be arrested but (sounds of violent slashes and faint voices of people screaming) that so called gift of GOD killed everyone in that village.

Later word spread of his evil doing and he was hunted like an animal and killed but a few short years after a grey haired boy was born but this time into a royal family. No one celebrated him and the family he was born into took caution to him for that, any mistake he made would reward him with a beating. He was shunned by the rest of his family and treated like an outcast and for this the boy grew mad and slew everyone in his family after which he committed suicide. Since then any white or grey haired child born was killed and it stayed that way for years until the rule was abolished, but by that time it was already to late white and grey haired children had stopped being born, that is …until I as born.

I don't know if i am the only one, maybe other families hid their children born with such hair color, but as of now i am the only one. My mother and father told me that when they had me people shunned them and immediately my mother gave birth they tried to have me killed but no harm came to me thanks to my fathers friend, the wind user Kenji and the current Kamui. Father says that some have forgotten those old ways and to others it is more of a scary story or old fairytale but, some people still believe it to this day and any mistake i make, if my parents aren't there to protect me could have me killed. (Yelling at his father) SO THAT STORY IS ALSO GOING TO DETERMINE WETHER OR NOT I HAVE A FUTURE?!

Yoshi: (sighs) I know it's not but you need to calm down Yamato, no one is blaming you or saying that's the case. We're only making suggestions. I need you to understand it's not the end of your story, you are made for and destined to do great things. Now look at me…

Yamato: (looks at his father)

Yoshi: the school your going to is filled with kids that have already attained their powers, you cannot let yourself get intimidated… do you hear me son? you have to stand your ground and show what you can accomplish, not to them but to yourself because only how you see yourself matters and most importantly i need you to never ever give up, promise me Yamato… promise me that no matter what happens or what comes your way you will never give up.

Yamato:(inspired, with tears in his eyes)I promise dad! I'm never going to give up, I'm not going to let you or mum down i swear it!

Yoshi: That's my boy. Now let's get you to that school
