He knew... (2)

Another time, also in the floating mountain...

Dragovic and his father, Dragon God could be seen standing outside, at the foot of the tall tower.

They were standing side by side, looking into the distance, Dragovic's eyes could be seen glowing with a fiery red glow.

His eyes had been enhanced by his father with a skill.

"You like what you see..." Dragon God said, a slight smile on his handsome chiseled face.

His red hair and the red hair of his son fluttered slightly. They looked quite humane, if not for their red hair.

But still, no dragon in any draconic form has human skin. So it's quite unbelievable that these two are dragons, cause no one would believe they are if they were seen.

With his eyes enhanced by his father, Leon was able to view the entire realm as a whole. The entire dragon realm is comparable to the size of Jupiter. The viewing was strange, while he could see the whole realm and everything in it, even though the humans and dragon appeared as small as a dot, he was still able to see their figures quite clearly.

Since his mind couldn't keep up with seeing what was happening in an entire realm, Dragovic willed to view a small part of the realm that caught his eye.

He noticed a coliseum, dragons sitting in dignified seats and shouting in excitement as they watched a thrilling battle of their slaves.

The race was the human race and a Slime. There was no use of energies. Just a mundane battle that tested physical abilities and strength.

The slime was on the winning side with its incredible agility and seeming immortal body.

The human's eyes were dead and desperate because only one of the two would be heading out alive.

The human hadn't begun his leveling path so he was very weak and mundane, the same goes to the slime. The only way to kill the slime was to get to its core and shatter it, but the slime was very tricky.

The human was using a blunt short sword, the slime wielding something similar but its own weapon looked more like a dagger.

The fight lasted for a while, but the human eventually won.

He did so by utilizing a well-sorted opportunity, he threw his short sword when the slime was falling, aiming for its core.

Despite the slimy body resistance, the short sword was able to go through with no problem and it struck the core with great impact. The core shattered and the slime died, its lifeless slime body fell like water, lying on the ground unmoving.

The human seeing that he was victorious. He slumped tiredly to the ground. He lay on the ground unmoving. He had survived today, to live and fight again tomorrow. His only purpose in life is to struggle, survive and entertain the bloodthirsty audience.

Meanwhile, audience cheered for the wonderful performance till their voices cracked. They cared not about the life lost because, to them, it was just a bunch of Low lives.

Watching the audience, Dragovic sighed and answered his father's question, "They sure do look arrogant and prideful.."

"Indeed," his father replied before adding, "But this is what we are. Arrogance and pride are what give strength. A Dragon with no pride is no dragon"

Dragovic smiled,

"Vic," his father called in short.

"yes," Dragovic replied turning to look at his father.

"Let's play Elven chess,"

"Last time we did you weren't able to last 30 moves"

"You only got lucky that time. Besides, Elven chess is too complicated for me, the rules and moves are just too much." Dragon God smiled.

When Dragovic remained silent, Dragon God grabbed, Dragovic by his wrist brought him closer, and ruffled his hair.

"Come"

He said, wrapping his arm around Dragovic waist with a grin, ruffling his hair menacingly as he flew down to the foot of the mountain.

"Dad, no bullying" Dragovic's desperate voice reverberated in the mountain, tainted with despair.

The scene opens again in the chess room...

Dragon God and Dragovic were just about to begin playing chess.

Dragon God then brought out the jet-black ring, the ring was as black as onyx. At the top of the ring was the head of a dragon in its top berserk form.

The top berserk form of a dragon is the beastial dragon form, it's like the dragon beasts seen in fantasy movies.

In that form, a dragon is rendered completely indestructible to most attacks, very few attacks could get through their scale which gets extremely thick and large in that form. The Ring has the head of a dragon in this form.

Dragovic eyes twitched when he saw the ring, though his level is extremely low when compared to his father, he should still have been able to detect it. But he wasn't able to do so with his senses until his father had brought it out.

That should be impossible unless his father had deliberately hidden its presence, which is very unlikely.

"What's that?"

"Treasure..." Dragon God replied, giving the ring to Dragovic.

Dragovic took it and was about to wear the ring to his finger, but Dragon God stopped him.

"Don't..."

Dragovic looked up, a confused expression on his face, "Why"

His father gave it took him but was preventing him from wearing it, he has every right to be confused.

"You will wear it soon..." Dragon God smiled slightly, his smile was mysterious and ... Sad.

"What's wrong Dad..."

As Dragovic remembered these two scenes, his expression crumpled as he discovered strange signals that had been hidden from him in the past.

"He knew the Cthulhu was coming ... He probably also knew that he would die"

He was heartbroken, while this was his first time feeling such pain, he controlled the sadness in his heart, turning it into anger that was directed at the Cthulhu.

"Tell me what to do," he said in a cold voice, looking at the Galaxy core with his fierce red eyes.
