"I can't do that"

"Why not, I think we friends should stick together " Forty One pressurized.

Pointing at the cave, "His my friend too" Forty Four stated.

"He may be, but given a chance he'd do thesame thing to you or is already planning to do it tomorrow, don't just let your emotions cloud your judgement."

Hearing that, Forty Four chuckled, "Funny you would say that."

"Why?"She asked with confusion in her eyes.

"Five told me this same thing in regards to you." Forty then stared ahead and took a deep breath, "How much do you know about my powers?"

Forty One didn't get the question but still answered , "You got some Kind of shape fitting or metamorphosis ability."

"That's basically it, but most people don't know that I can metamorphose any part of my body alone and I also gain half of the ability or characteristics of any body I change into."

Confusion still in her eyes, "Why exactly are you telling me this?" Forty One asked.

"This afternoon, same person you want us to eliminate asked me to listen on you with one of the metamorphose I got." Immediately she heard that, Forty One took a deep breath and closed her eyes as if in melancholy.

She put her hands inside her pockets and stared at the calm pond, which was reflecting the image of the moon. She subtly held the two grenades that were still inside her pocket.

"We know about your plans and I know even if I help you to take out Five, I'm just making myself easy work for you two sisters to easily eliminate."

Forty One's hands tightened in her pockets, which didn't go unoticed by Forty Four who still stared at the pond calmly.

"I need you to think about what you about to do carefully, I believe there's a way we can go around all this." Five advised.

Letting out a scoff , Forty One replied, "You know if anybody's gonna win this I'd make sure it will be my sister."

She then tried to bring out the two grenades from her pocket, but Forty Four was faster as he held her hands with his.

Looking at the hands keeping her hands in place, she was a little surprised at the way they looked. They seem a little small to be his and they looked girly. Actually she wasn't far from the truth as Forty Four had actually metamorphose his hands to that of her sister.

Forty One tried to force her hand away, but the small hands contained unfathomable strength and refused to budge.

She tried to struggle more and that was when it happened, Forty Four who wasn't really used to such strength couldn't control it properly and then 'SNAP..'

It was the sound of the bone in her left hand breaking, the nerves in her hand dutifully carried the pain signals to her brain

"Aaaaaah" A piercing painful scream broke the little silence of the night drowning any other sound.

Hearing her Sister's scream Eighty who was pretending to sleep and awaiting her sister's signal, knew something was wrong and quickly sprang up to her feet but so did Five who lunged himself towards her and they both hit the wall of the cave.

They quickly got up again and Eighty not wasting any time throws a punch,but Five blocks it with his forearm which immediately became numb as if being hit by a steel pipe.

She tried a leg sweep, but Five jumped out of the way and counters with a kick but she catches his leg and throws him to the ground. He rolled to his feet and charges at her again, but she blocks his attack with her arm.

Five lunges again, but this time she caught him in a headlock, but he was successfully able to put his hand in between and with a burst of energy, he flips her over his shoulder, releasing himself from her grip.

Eighty was able to land on her feet and launches herself at Five tackling him to the ground. They grapple on the ground each one trying to gain the upper hand, or better still Five struggling to escape the tackle.

She wraps her legs around his waist, trying to immobilize him, but he managed to twist out of her grip with a quick elbow strike he broke free and scrambles to his feet, she also follows suit.

Five stood blocking the way as they stared at each other.

This was when Fight finally knew what it meant to truly fight with a Neo. He knew for a fact that he could have knocked her out already, but his own strength can't contend with hers and her body durability was almost off the charts, it was as if he was hitting steel.

This two things rendered his efforts or martial skills useless bringing truth to the popular saying; 'when faced with absolute strength, skill is no match.'

Eighty herself was surprised at the turn of events right now, she always thought that the only person she should be worried about was Forty Four who is a Neo like her and not an Expendable.

During the course of this task she had come across different Expendables, but apart from them banding together it was a cake walk to defeat them using her strength and body durability.

She never took Five as a threat, but now this insignificant person was the one stopping her from leaving to check up on her sister.

As the fire which they had made earlier when they had all settled in the cave casted their shadows on the ground, they stared at each other a little longer, each knowing that the next confrontation they make now, will decide who will be leaving this cave her or him,

"I hope his having more long than me." Five muttered in his heart.

Outside the cave, once her bone snapped and she screamed Forty Four was surprised, it was never his intention to break her hand.

"Sorry are you ok?" Though it was a stupid question he still asked with concern laced on his tone.

But instead of an answer, seeing that out of concern for her and his shock he unknowingly released his hold on her, she brought out the grenade in her right pocket and released the pin on it.

Forty Four watched surprised at her actions as she was trying to put the grenade in his jacket pocket, he was fast enough to slap it out of her hand and it fell into the pond and exploded releasing a dark red smoke which was immediately subdued by the water.
