055 Discovery

Jimmy pulled over several cars to make sure that Johnny was not inside. He mainly just checked identities and gave warnings, not really in the mood to write any tickets.

Suddenly, he spotted a black sedan speeding past his police car. He turned on the sirens and chased after it. Jimmy reported the license plate number of the sedan, and the dispatch center informed him that it was a stolen vehicle.

Jimmy called Cage for backup and then raced forward along with the black sedan.

There were more vehicles on the highway during the day, and Jimmy never had the chance to perform a PIT maneuver; he could only follow as the current speed had already surpassed 110 mph, 180 kilometers per hour.

After chasing for nearly half an hour, Cage's police car caught up from behind. It slowed down to follow behind Jimmy's car, not overtaking him to take the PIT position, as Cage's higher rank did not mean he had to outpace Jimmy and add unnecessary risk when Jimmy was handling the pursuit well.
