noooooope

He got scammed! He was expecting to go somewhere where he would have to fight, an easy way to satisfy his battlenut self. Afterall, the excileration of a battle was so satisfying, exciting and fulfilling at the same time. But this... Place... was just not for him. That damned god must be laughing his ass off right now. ___ The summary sucks but I will try to make the story good... Hopefully. I don't own pokemon, btw.

Chapter Six

8 Hours. I walked for 8 hours to reach this place... It took only five minutes to travel through half of the Sinnoh region in the game, but it took 8 hours to reach the edge of the donut-shaped island.

Damn real-world logic, stupid time-consuming traveling, stupid money requirements. Why can't I just be rich? Right, because every somewhat important character needs some development.

Rolling my eyes, I reach inside my pocket, feeling the shrunken Pokeball inside, Rolling it in my palm, I felt a wave of calm overcome my excitement. This was going to be my first battle, but he had his Pokemon with him. It would be okay, no matter how it turned out.

Taking a deep breath, I took out my Pokeball and release the Pokemon inside. Charcadet appeared in a flash of light, causing the bustling flock of Hoppip to stop and pause in what they were doing.

In 8 hours that I was walking, I found out something very important. that in the real world, walking took longer, but other than that I researched some possible moves the Hoppip could know.

The ones we need to watch out for are Sleep powder, Stun spore, and Poison Powder... Which was what they were using right now. Drat.

Taking a deep breath, I narrowed my eyes at my opponents.

Three Hoppip that used the combination of spores must be experienced since they were the first to react. They must have been the ones protecting the flock when the leader wasn't present, which it wasn't.

I wonder if that cloud of spores is flammable.

"Fireball!"

Using the newly made move, which totally wasn't a ripoff, you can't prove it, Charcadet raised his small arms forward, conjuring a giant ball of fire. Within a second, the fireball shot forward, bursting into the combination of spores. The giant cloud wasn't flammable as it didn't explode in a fiery explosion of awesomeness.

It did make the cloud disperse, though, so that was a plus.

The giant ball of destruction neared the three Hoppip and I could see the three disperse. Suddenly, even for me, the trajectory of the ball shifted, now heading straight toward one of the grass types.

My eyes widened as the wild pokemon was engulfed in fire, and I held on to hope. Hope that it would be okay. This was the pokemon world, the world where children at the age of ten went on adventures around the world. They wouldn't send them out when it was possible that a move could accidentally kill them.

Slowly, horror set as the fireball passed the spot where the Hoppip should have been, only to reveal nothing. Not even a speck of dust, only charred grass.

This wasn't new, I went hunting before, and I killed animals before. But this wasn't something to scoff at. This small accident just proved all of my theories wrong. Ash could very well die, Mewtwo would go apeshit, The world-ending events could happen and succeed and it was now my problem. I was in this world now, wasn't I?

Taking a deep breath, I centered myself, focusing on the now. I can ponder the ending of the world later.

The other two duel types rushed in, one tilting its head to aim its rotating... Things, propellers? In our direction. A second later, it generated a gust of wind that brushed over both of me and Charcadet. I had to cover my eyes to prevent any dust from obstructing my view, while the second fireball that was in the process of conjuring remained its size, not getting any bigger.

Fairy wind?

The second Hoppip produced more powder from its body, it wasn't purple so it was no poison powder, so either stun spore or sleep powder. None of them are ideal for us.

"Cover yourself in fire!"

I commanded and my Charcadet obeyed, commanding the ball of fire to encircle himself, preventing himself from being affected. Now, this wouldn't have worked as well as it did if it wasn't for the flash fire ability, but since Charcated has the said ability, all the fire attacks are ineffective against it.

I felt a smile spread on my face, this was more exciting than he expected. The Hoppip that was the source of the gust of wind was tiring, it was only natural, it didn't have the evolutionary strength, and neither did it have a trainer to work on its stamina. And thanks to the flock leader It most likely didn't have to battle much.

As soon as the Fairy wind stopped, Charcadet burst into action. The harmless fire that was surrounding it burst forward, getting far bigger than it was previously now that it was not affected by the Fairy wind.

The two Hoppip were turned to dust within seconds.

I felt my excitement grow, yeah, this was what I meant when I wanted fights, but I imagined myself doing the fighting, but this was not bad either. I could argue that this could be better.

But this was concerning as well, if a Charcadet, a pokemon this small, could kill so effortlessly, then I deaded what a Garchomp could do. Coincidentally, I wanted a Garchomp too.

I had my work cut out for me, as it would seem.

The excitement didn't last long, however, as a hail of projectiles from the side. He could see what they were. Seeds, they were seeds. So, that was the Bullet Seed.

My eyes tracked Charcadet as he was thrown to the side but he quickly stopped, righted himself, and glared at the attacker. I turned towards the said attacker as well. A blue sphere connected to three white spheres around its body. Its small red dot eyes looked angry somehow, mostly indicated by the frown that the mouth was formed into.

In the corner of my eye, I saw some seeds grow from the body of Charcadet, starting to glow as if it was sucking something from the small fire type. That didn't last long, however, as Charcadet cried out and heated himself up to burn any remnants of Leech seed that was thrown into the bullet seed.

My eyes darted around, seeing if there were any of its pre-evolutions around, but there were none.

The Jumpluff glowed white and dashed forward... straight towards me!

... Oh, shit.
