Founder of Shi Corps

"I found it!" Ariana claimed proudly as she finished her second glass of milk.

"What did you find?" Grandpa Xia, Zi Yan, Susu and Lily walked over to her side.

"There were two Shi Corporations in the past. The founder of the first Shi Corps was Shi Kow Wan, who suddenly announced his retirement after the company got on the right tracks. He left one of his sons in charge of managing his company. That son is named Shi Huang Jie. He had poor talent when it comes to generating profit for the company, so it led to bankruptcy."

"Not long after the bankruptcy happened, Shi Kow Wan's other son, Shi Zhuang Guo and his wife Qian Ling created the Shi Corps that we see now. They had a daughter named Shi Xue. Not long after Shi Xue had been born, Qian Ling died in a car explosion, which deemed to be an accident. Shi Zhuang Guo died from cancer at a fairly young age."

"So.. Shi Xue inherited every asset her dad had left her, including Shi Corps. But she's also the girl I researched for Huang Zhi Hei. She was plotted against by her own fiancé. That links the fiancé to Li Teng and Tian Guo Min. But it doesn't make much sense up to here?" She started scratching the back of her head as she tried linking everyone together.

Susu took an erasable marker and listed out the names that were mentioned. Looking at them, she made a huge assumption.

"Let's assume it this way. Shi Kow Wan retired and his son Shi Huang Jie ruined his company after taking over his spot. His other son became successful and opened a new Shi Corps. The Shi's were bankrupt and desperately needed money. Therefore, they started sticking to Qian Ling and Shi Zhuang Guo. If Qian Ling died, then all there's left would be Shi Zhuang Guo."

"And if Shi Zhuang Guo also died, then they are the blood related family members who could claim the property and assets. But there was Shi Xue in their way. So, they wanted to get rid of her."

"Li Teng is Li Shen Wen's younger brother, a spoiled brat. He was the one who convinced Shi Xue's fiancé with the assassination plan. Tian Guo Min is Li Shen Wen's husband. If the Li and Tian family have something to do with that Project, then it would somewhat make sense."

"Since Qian Ling used to be part of the Project and she gave birth to Shi Xue; their first target would be Qian Ling. When Qian Ling fails their expectations, then they would want to kill her. If they think that Shi Xue has the two chips that's currently in our hands, and then realize that she didn't...."

Ariana snapped her fingers, "Then they would get rid of her. The leader of the Project is someone from the Shi family. By getting rid of Shi Xue, the person would gain the most control over money! So, the Li family, Tian family, Liang family and Yin family were just small potatoes. The real hidden wicked leader is in the Shi family!"

Grandpa Xia paused them really quick, "So you mean the brutal murderer is someone from Shi family and that person is in charge of the Project. They killed those who were in their way using other people's hands to make it less suspicious on their end. In the end, the person who would benefit the most of this would be... Shi Huang Jie?"

Zi Yan shook her head, "That's impossible. Think about it carefully. If Shi Huang Jie is so useless in managing the first company, then how come Shi Corps is running fine right now? I think on the outside; he might look like the person who benefits the most from this. The leader is someone who is controlling everything behind the scene."

Susu nodded, "I agree with mom's thoughts as well. His wife, Shi Shan Shan is another idiot who only shops and spends money like water. I doubt it is Shi Xue's fiancé's family. What about Shi Kow Wan? What happened to him after he retired?"

Ariana typed on her keyboard and shook her head, "No news about him. After he retired, nobody had seen him."

Zi Yan smiled, "Then let's start with Shi Kow Wan first. He might be the most suspicious of all since he left his well managed company out of nowhere and disappeared. If he is the leader of the whole thing, then we just need to dig up his ass and screw it."

Ariana started typing all over again, "Working on it. Someone go check on Chen Mu and Lin Que, please."

Everyone felt more motivated as things grew more interesting. Susu, on the other hand, had a question that wasn't answered. She mumbled, "But Qian Ling is still alive, so that means they still found her useful. If they wanted to kill her, then they could have left her at the explosion. How come they kept her captive for all these years? Just for experiment?"

Ariana's ears moved slightly as she heard Susu's inquiry, "I have the same question that you have. Qian Ling must have some qualities that we haven't figured out yet. If she could make an illusional wall to trick those bastards, think of her unlimited potential. Also, she mentioned the Project was for afterlife or something like that."

Susu started scribbling on the board, trying to figure out what Qian Ling could have meant by afterlife. Meanwhile, Chen Nan was sent to the laboratory room to see Chen Mu and Lin Que's progress. Upon entering the room, he could see the two of them with ghastly pale complexions.

Waving in their faces, he asked, "What's wrong? You two look like you've seen a ghost or something."

They held the stack of papers in their hands and wrinkled it, "It's worse than seeing a ghost."

They passed the papers to him and frowned deeply. Chen Nan flipped through the pages with furrowed brows before slamming the pile to the table.

"What the fuck is this?!"

On top of the table laid the pile of repeatedly tested results of the pill from Qian Ling's container...

Each page was filled with the same keyboard character symbols...

The pill was unidentifiable.
