TWO DATES 4

He walked around the second floor and saw Amber resting on a wall. She looked exhausted. He frowned. "She has been working since the morning. Instead of her to go home and rest a little before going on a date with me, she insisted on coming here." he thought with a frown and decided to call her while he stared at her. He dialed her number. She took out her phone with a smiley face, and her expression changed immediately she saw the caller.

"Wow, she wasn’t expecting my call," he muttered. She cut the call and put her phone back in her bag. He called her number a few times. She took it out and attempted to switch off her phone when an incoming call from Mason came in. She smiled and picked up the call.

"Where are you? I have been waiting for some minutes." she complained.

"You know what, come to me, follow my lead, go up to the third floor." He navigated, she started walking as she followed his lead. Xavier also followed her closely. She halted as she thought someone was trailing her, but the person was making sure his or her shoes didn’t make a sound.

Amber slowly turned and didn’t see anyone behind her. Maybe she was imagining things, she thought, and waved off the idea. She hastened her footsteps so if there was someone they wouldn’t be able to catch up to her.

"She is actually smart, but I will regret not going after her today." Xavier said as he adjusted the ring on his finger.

Lily’s father was talking to Eric the moment they got there, and Mrs. Kings said he was feeling lonely. Her father stood up the moment he saw them holding a newspaper.

"I will take my leave. I have got better things to do," he said, attempting to walk away and giving his wife a quick kiss on the cheek before walking away. Lily gulped, staring at Eric, who was touching a pimple on his face continuously.

"What do you think can cure his pimples?" Mrs. Kings asked, staring at Lily. She chuckled.

"How am I supposed to know? I am not a doctor, am I?" Lily half shrugged.

"You are supposed to know, you were an actress. There are a lot of things that can cure his pimples; some home remedies, and so on. You can tell him about it." Mrs. Kings said and stood up from the chair she was sitting in, signaling Lily’s mother to go with her.

"I will see her out hun," her mother said, and started walking away with Mrs. Kings. Lily knew what they were trying to do. They wanted to leave her alone with Eric.

"So tell me, what do you think can cure my pimples and stop them from aching?" He asked with a grin, and she got a glimpse of his teeth. They were brown in colour. His middle teeth had some green particles on them, and there was also a sign of blood. When she saw his teeth, she almost puked.

"Gosh, this guy is so disgusting." She thought, trying her best not to look at his teeth as he spoke. She couldn’t hear what he was saying. Mason was the only thing on her mind. She missed him a lot and couldn’t wait for him to come back.

"Hello, miss? I am talking to you." Eric said and stood up from his chair, waving his hand in her face, but she didn’t respond. She was still trapped in her imagination. He chuckled and snapped his finger in front of her, jolting her out of her trance. She looked up at him, wondering how he got so close to her.

"What are you thinking? Will you like to share it with me?" he asked with a smile. She closed her eyes. "Please stop smiling," she said under her breath, but he heard what she said.

"Why?" he asked flatly.

"I don’t believe this garbage boy in front of me is from a rich family. Just take a look at him. Everything about him seems off. Are my parents trying to use him to test me or something, because this isn’t funny?" She thought, scrunching her face. She felt like walking out on him. He squatted in front of her, as she didn’t respond to his question, and took her hand in his.

"I don’t think you like me," he muttered, She rolled her eyes, "Thank goodness you know," she thought. He started rubbing her hand with his.

"But I will…" He leaned in and whispered in her ear. "Make you like me," he muttered. She felt an icy chill run down her spine. She stuck out her tongue in disgust. He stood up and let go of her hand.

"Go on a date with me," he said, showing her his back.

"Huh?" she muttered.

"I said go on a date with me right now." He said, extending his hand to her. She glanced at his hand, and shut her eyes a little before taking his hand. She didn’t want to let her parents down.

"Let’s go, my car is outside." He said, leading her to the entrance of the house. She followed him without uttering a word and tried her best not to be bothered by the way he smelled.

He led her to a Rolls Royce that was parked in their garage and opened the door for her. She got into the car, and noticed there was a handsome man sitting next to her in the car, she gulped and moved on the chair a little to get a good glimpse at his face, there was a persistent smile on his face. He had black wavy hair and a sexy tattoo on his neck. He was putting on a pair of diamond earrings. His fragrance was breathtaking.

"W…who are you?" She inquired and stared at the front seat. A chauffeur was sitting in the front seat. She started trying to open the door of the car. She felt like she was in the wrong car because Eric hadn’t come in with her.

Amber arrived in front of Mason’s room, he opened the door and smiled at her. "I have been waiting for you," he said in a sexy tone that made her heart skip a beat. He grasped her hand and pulled her into the room. She hesitated to go into the room with him.

"What are you doing?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. He chuckled. He wrapped his hand around her waist, pulling her closer to his chest, looking down at her big brown eyes.

"I am trying to spend some time with you." he replied.

"In your hotel room?" she asked, with her eyes wide open.

"Of course, don’t you want to have some fun with me?" He asked playing with her; he knew she was thinking about something else. She shook her head.

"What the hell are you talking about?" she asked.

"What do you think I am talking about?" he said and pulled her into the room, shutting it with his other hand, but Xavier prevented the door from closing with his hand.

Mason started kissing her roughly, as her back landed against the wall, he caressed her leg and placed it on his waist, kissing her continuously, running his hands through her hair, Amber was enjoying every moment, she was finding it difficult to breathe but she didn’t care, as his lips were all over hers, the pleasure was intense and she didn’t want him to stop. Mason was just teasing her, but he had gone too far. Now he wanted to devour her. He couldn’t stop himself anymore.

Xavier pushed the door open. His heart was in her arms and she was playing with it without caring about him. Watching the two of them make out and the way she moaned as he kissed her neck got him angry.

"Amber!" he half yelled. They quickly separated, and Amber pulled her dress down, staring at him. She was catching her breath. She was stunned.

"Oh no, what is he doing here? How did he find out I was here? Was he the one stalking me?" she thought, staring at him. Mason smiled widely at Xavier.

"I am glad you got to see this. Amber is my woman. You should learn to accept the truth and look for someone else." Mason said and wrapped his hand around her waist, pulling her closer to him. She stayed there staring at him, speechless. She didn’t know Xavier would find out so soon.

"If Peter hadn’t told me all this, I wouldn’t have known. I will continue being deceived by you. Tell me all this is a lie. Tell me I am the one you love, and all this was a mistake." Xavier said with a lot of sincerity.

"Peter?" Amber muttered.

"Come with me, Amber. You promise to be with me." Xavier said, extending his hand to her, but she didn’t look like she was going to go with him. Her gaze was still fixed on Mason, and it made him angry. He gnashed his teeth and stomped over to them, dragging Amber away from Mason.
